The reason I joined Cushman & Wakefield … Last night was one of mixed emotions - saying ‘see you later’ to my boss, Rob Hall, as he relocates to #HongKong to lead the C&W Integrated Portfolio Management business for #APAC for the next two years. Whilst I’m delighted for Rob and the opportunity this presents to him, his lovely wife Philly and the C&W business, it will be different not having Rob around to guide and lead us in EMEA. “So why have you joined C&W, a real estate business, when you work in supply chain?” … a question I’ve often been asked in the last two years! The answer is simple and centred around two key points for me: 1️⃣ There is a vision and desire to integrate supply chain at the heart of logistics real estate thinking here - to bring something different to our clients 2️⃣ There was an immediate ‘fit’ - I felt like I belonged, culturally, from the very first interaction … And at the heart of this was Rob - He epitomises both the vision and culture of C&W 🙌🏼 So, thank you Rob, for recruiting me and supporting me over my first two years in the business - I have no doubt our work will continue to grow stronger over the next two, just with a slight time zone difference! #CushWake #Relocation #Travel #SupplyChain #Logistics #RealEstate
