*Miami entrepreneur launches platform to reforest the Amazon and invites the world to participate*
Augustin T. O'Brien Caceres, a successful entrepreneur and environmental preservation enthusiast, is turning his venture into a global movement to save the Amazon rain forest. Through his "Save The Amazon Today" website (https://lnkd.in/dXy-qMif), he invites people from all over the world to join the cause simply by planting only one tree in the most important rainforest on the planet.
According to the Italian-Argentine businessman who grew up in Brazil between 1977 and 2008, the initiative is innovative because it puts the power of action in the hands of each citizen instead of just in the hands of large corporations and tycoons. "Save The Amazon Today" offers a simple and accessible platform where anyone can choose his own tree among several native species and finance its planting right in the Amazon and in their name. With more than 11 million hectares of protected areas, and 280 thousand under restoration, Caceres aims to plant more than 200 million trees in the devastated areas.
Caceres further explains that the platform goes beyond reforestation and indigenous social causes themselves, providing a positive psychological impact to every participant. “By having a tree planted in their name in the Amazon, each individual feels like an active part of the environmental preservation, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future”, he emphasizes.
The objective is that through this action, 200 million trees will be planted in the coming years. “Save The Amazon Today" seeks to engage people from all over the world, and we have already received confirmations from several places, such as Texas and Florida, in the United States and England, demonstrating the growing interest in preserving the Amazon ”, informs Caceres.
Interested parties can access the "Save The Amazon Today" website, choose a tree and contribute directly to saving the Amazon.
Caceres' initiative aims to allow everyone to participate in their environmental preservation projects, which are often only accessible to tycoons, governments and large corporations due to their large size and high cost. The “Save The Amazon Today” service has already been chosen by internet users from several countries, such as the United States, Portugal, Switzerland, Brazil itself, and England, and has the goal of planting 200 million new trees in the coming years.
