The Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) announced a collaboration with Peterson Health Technology Institute (PHTI), ZS, and other industry groups to improve the development and implementation of integrated evidence plans (IEPs) for digital health products (DHPs). Clinical-grade #AI is helping staff save time and reducing the potential for keyboard errors at Emory Healthcare. AI is also enhancing medication history data for 81% of all available home medications so patient records contain fewer gaps. For patients age 65 and older, the health system is gathering medication history data for 92% of that high-risk population. "To address the interconnected challenges of reduced staff productivity and risks to patient safety that stem from a lack of access to accurate and actionable medication history, we turned to three medication management services offered within Fuzion by DrFirst, a software platform that uses clinical-grade AI to streamline clinical workflows," Alistair Erskine MD MBA, CIDO for Emory tells Bill Siwicki of HIMSS Media for Healthcare IT News.
