AI is such a fascinating tool being used in healthcare.
I love how AI is being used to help diagnosis cancers earlier. I am seeing more and more women in their mid-to-late twenties being diagnosed with late stage breast cancer. With this new technology, we can start detecting tumors at earlier stages and are able to get patients the right care at the right time.
Is AI in healthcare perfect? Absolutely not. Endoscopes with AI built in can (and does) confuse air bubbles for polyps during a colonoscopy. That is why having the human interaction is so important.
I have said it many times before, when it comes to AI in healthcare. We are a unique industry. The human interaction is key to our success in healthcare. Patients want the human interaction.
We need to look at AI as the additional tool to help us do our jobs better so we can better serve our patients.
AI is one of healthcare's hottest topics, but how is it actually being used on the frontlines? 🤔
We dove into some of its core use cases—and if you want to master machine learning, our AI in Healthcare Forum is coming up soon. Register here: https://bit.ly/3OTaQHT
