What it takes to know you are going to make it?
● Painful nights and days of practice
● The knowing rather than the belief part
● Understanding the chemistry between hard work and passion
● Focusing on the mission and success point
Do you think it is easy to reach such a position without any of the mentioned elements?
PS: I would love to know your thoughts.

A quick snapshot here of one of my life's biggest passions table tennis! 🏓
I'm not an active tournament player anymore, but the passion and intensity from table tennis has definitely transferred to my path of entrepreneurship.
A few people say today that we shouldn't seek or follow our passions... that we should focus on developing a skill and over time your passion in that area will begin to build.
But I say, follow the things that you are curious and passionate about... and in doing so your skill will raise. Your passion and confidence will increase.
And that passion - confidence intensity can be applied to other things that you pursue in your life... hobbies, sports, career, business, etc.

🏅 A Week Before the Paris Olympics: Can India Make History? 🏅
As the Paris Olympics draw near, the excitement is palpable.
1. Can we surpass our best haul from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics?
2. Will 2024 be the year India finally hits a double-digit medal count?
3. Can PV Sindhu make history with a hat-trick of Olympic medals?
We'll know the answers in less than a month. But for now, let's walk down memory lane with this #News18Creative showcasing the medal winners who have made India proud in the modern Olympics.
#didyouknow
- India first participated as a team in the Summer Olympics in 1920 and has been a regular contender.
- Our hockey team has contributed to more than one-third of our total medals, winning six successive Gold Medals.
- Wrestling accounts for 20% of our medals.
- Out of 35 medals in our nation's kitty, only 10 have been Gold.
- Independent India did not win a single medal in the 1976, 1984, 1988, and 1992 Olympics.
Check out the News18 Creative document and celebrate the triumphs that have paved the way for our athletes today.

Our champion #Vinesh has now announced her retirement from wrestling. Yes she is walking away without the Olympic medal she earned (awaiting appeal decision) but she has achieved so much more, both in and out of the ring. We are proud of you Vinesh.
This also highlights the importance of supporting Olympic sports. Our country blindly follows Cricket and every 4 years we rue our lack of Olympic medals. But do our athletes really get the support, infrastructure and exposure that they deserve?
India has no dearth of talent. But lack of opportunities create hurdles for these champions.
And a lot depends on the ordinary people like us. If we increase our awareness and follow Olympic sports the way we do cricket, results are bound to come. I mean, how many of us even know when world championships of these different events like Archery/Shooting/Badminton/Table Tennis/Boxing/Wrestling etc are held? But we religiously follow every cricket tournament.
Come on India, let us support our Olympics athletes and Olympic sports.

With the final contingent lists announced, we're edging closer and closer to the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics ⛹️♀️🏃🤾♀️🤽🚴♂️🤼♀️
1️⃣1️⃣8️⃣ Indian athletes will be traveling to Paris, which includes 5️⃣ reserves in hockey and table tennis. With an expectation to better the medals tally from last time, is the number of athletes who have qualified for the Games enough to match the expectations?
The comparison between the number of athletes and number of medals over the last five editions show that quantity doesn't necessarily result in quality.
With India sending a lesser number of athletes than the previous edition, will we still be able to see more medals won than we saw in Tokyo?
Please show us your support to take Indian sports to newer heights:

Sahaja Yamalapalli is set to become India's new No. 1️⃣ women's singles player.
The 23-year-old is currently ranked 303rd in the Live WTA rankings and will surpass Ankita Raina, who has been holding India's No.1 position since 2018. 💭
Ankita is currently ranked 283rd in the WTA rankings. But her recent streak of poor performance will see Sahaja rise in the rankings and replace her. 📈
