International Women's Day 2024 | “Inspire Inclusion”. Day 3 of spotlighting some outstanding women that have made a difference in my life on professional and personal levels. Spotlight: Molly Miller Molly is my closest friend & dream builder, goal setter, & someone I can always turn to for the best of both professional and personal advice. I have always been inspired by Molly’s multifaceted talent scope and her constant drive for success! When I asked Molly to describe her professionally journey to her current role, she responded: “I worked in sales at a digital marketplace, and lost my job due to covid layoffs. I quickly found MarketerHire through my network. It was the perfect combination of my previous sales experience, but also my interest in marketing. Initially, I was hired as a Growth Manager where I learned the ins & outs of the business model. After 6 months, I was promoted to Team Lead where I managed a team of 5 to 12 Growth Managers. At that point I really began to focus on what it would take for me to grow in the company & expand my experience. I spent my days in the data to pinpoint where focus our efforts to improve our funnel performance as a team. That got the ideation mentality flowing, so I started working very closely with our VP of Sales, as well as our Director of Sales to share my thoughts and plant the seed for my desire to grow beyond my current role. After my Team Lead role, I was offered the opportunity to take over the US Sales Team as the Head of Sales. I have been in this role for over a year & find myself continually learning more & more about myself, MarketerHire, and the industry.” Molly details the following as her greatest professional achievement: My biggest professional achievement was being given the opportunity to move way beyond my experience as a Team Lead into a Head of Sales role. It takes a lot of trust as a business owner to give someone the responsibility to run an entire department without prior experience in that capacity. This opportunity has opened so many doors for me in my personal and professional growth. I’m constantly challenged, so complacency is never an option. I am extremely grateful for the mentorship, drive, collaboration, & knowledge that I have gotten thus far in my role.” Molly also described her experience as a female in the corporate world & how that has played a part in her professional journey:    “I have always felt respected & supported as a female at MarketerHire. I am very fortunate to be able to work closely with our 4 founders & exec team which also consists of several other female boss ladies. What are the 3 subjects I can speak about all day and all night? 🗣 1-HR and recruiting mainly 2-Networking 3-The power of women and how to make an impact (in Tech/communities, etc') (not necessarily by this order..) This week I had the privilege to speak about all of them in the workshop we created for our Networking group "Chain" who celebrating 1st anniversary already !! So special thanks to ⚡Barbara Li and Rachel Barouch-Haik for the great hosting The location was perfect 🌳 The food was tasty 🥖 The wine was great 🍷 But MAINLY the combination of the women who honored us with their presence and full cooperation to dive into our souls and share about the career journey and life and later on, how we can start collaborating with our business to empower each other! A few takeaways I took (are relevant for my Business but not only): ➡ Challenges and failures are actually our "fuel" for growth and success. ➡ Don't be afraid to take risks and make mistakes, as long as you learn, it is worth it- whatever the price is! ➡ Our ability to collaborate and brainstorm together Is major leverage to solve problems, increase innovation, and by that- build strong solutions. ➡ Our Network is our Net worth. Thanks again to all of you and I can't wait to meet again and kick off our collaboration. Why do I only work with women AEs? For starters, women are statistically proven to be the top sellers. That stacks the odds from the start in my favour. Truthfully, that had nothing to do with my decision. I used to pride myself on being the only woman in the room/meeting/team/trip. I loved to be a top performer on a team of mostly men. I didn’t mind feeling different. Some of the annoying things that happened like men talking directly to my male counterparts instead of responding to me or being talked over in meetings - I learned to address them and didn’t think much more about it. Until I saw these problems (and many others) in women who were much earlier in their careers. When I became a VP I had much more insight into the daily life of women sellers. I didn’t love what I saw. Some of the same stupid sh*t I dealt with 20 years earlier was still a part of their day. The more I talked to women in the field the more I saw. So, I wanted to do something to make a difference for women in tech sales. Create a safe place to be themselves, hone their skills, master their selling craft, and provide a place where they could feel like a part of a community and not an island. And…from there, my program was born. The Top Software Sales Performer Program for Women. The more entrenched I get in the world of women AEs in tech sales, the more I see really good changes happening. Companies are covering the cost of their training because they have a DEI budget and recognize the benefit of women-specific sales training. Male executives looking to hire reach out to me to purposefully add strong female candidates to their hiring process. Women are talking about their experience as female sellers more openly to help and support other women. For me, wanting to be a part of this shifting landscape and empower women to become the best version of themselves possible was a no-brainer. Grateful to spend each and every day surrounded by incredible women AEs 

𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬? 👩🏽💻 I’ve always been preoccupied with this topic. This is a short and sweet message for women in tech sales, but it applies to everyone. These are truths we all face. Navigating workplace challenges, especially as a woman in technical sales, is tough. From countless rejections by managers, colleagues, and customers, it’s been a journey of resilience and determination. People often say, "Don’t take it personally." But let’s be honest, it does trigger something in our subconscious. And what do we get from it? Nothing!   𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, these rejections can lead to self-doubt and stress. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, confronting these challenges can either strengthen our resilience or make us hesitant. I believe in transformational leadership, even if sales is a numbers game. Caring about our people and their growth ultimately leads to better results for everyone. But here’s the thing: we’re not alone. I believe in sharing and building a strong community together. During my recent talk at Women In Tech Sweden, I shared a special moment when Charlie Caper became my Wing Person. This experience really showed me the value of the Wing People method. I first saw Charlie's magic in his "Stockholm: Not a Coincidence" on YouTube. https://lnkd.in/dqwQ3WTn His unique mix of tech and magic was so impressive that I invited him to perform at TEDxStockholm in 2019, where he was a big hit. But at a networking event, Charlie's skill at connecting people really stood out. I was at the after party of an event, and I really wanted to sit at the speakers table (but I wasn’t a speaker). Charlie, without even knowing how much it would help, brought me into the center of the action and invited me to join the table. He introduced me to the group in a way that highlighted me and what value I bring and made me feel at ease. This wasn't just a simple intro; it was a strong endorsement that let me meet some interesting folks without needing to sell myself. Even a Wing Woman needs a Wing Person! Thanks to Charlie, I didn't just make new contacts; I made meaningful #connections that fit perfectly with what I want to do. His natural talent as a Wing Person showed me how important honest #introductions are and reinforced why the Wing People approach works so well in networking. Inspired by what I shared at Women in Tech, I urge all of us to try and be more like Charlie.
