In my opinion, each survey team should be equipped with a Drone (at least a mini one), so that we can capture the real time site condition in aerial photos, then overlaid with our survey date for well representative what is going on.

EMS provides high- precision coastal mapping in support of Tidal Boundary Surveys. In this case, various control points were set and coordinate data collected via RTK survey methods. These reference points were used by our FAA-certified drone pilot to calibrate aerial imagery to real-world coordinates and land boundaries. This can be a crucial component in helping to establish the Mean High Water (MHW) line that defines publicly-owned tidelands.
