I'm always a glass-half-full kind of person, but yesterday tested me a little. Here’s how the day went south, and how I managed to turn it around with a positive outlook: ❌ 8 out of 8 rejections from potential new clients. 6 warm intros from referrals, asking for my help 😑 🚩 Final-stage candidates halted due to a "change" in the role—red flag! Time to reassess if we continue working together. Let's see what happens. 🚫 1 person didn’t show up for their final interview. The reasons are valid, but the end client is understandably frustrated. 📞 3 no-shows for pre-booked calls But the positives? 💡 🤓 Worked late into the evening speaking to a prospective client in the US—turns out DanOps is known across the pond! We've got 2 new roles to fill (details coming soon). 🌍 Reestablished Women in Tech Republic in the US, adding to the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands! Excited to start hosting events again. 📅 Booked 5 follow-ups and 7 calls today with organisations looking to hire in the US. (Don’t worry Europe, I’m not giving up on you just yet 😉).
