🚀It's been over six months since I arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, THE Tech #Hub of Africa! As the economic attaché of the French Embassy in Nigeria, I have the pleasure of working to create more #connections between France and Nigeria on Tech topics. 🌟France is not well enough recognized for its Tech and digital #excellence in Nigeria, and promoting a better understanding of our ecosystem is crucial for our country's #attractiveness. This was one of the goals of the mission last June, during which I had the opportunity to accompany a delegation of six Nigerian Tech talents to Paris. They were not only able to attend and contribute to #Vivatech, but also to multiply their meetings with various Tech stakeholders in the French ecosystem. 🤝Another priority, which logically follows, is to promote more exchanges, #collaboration, and offer new business opportunities between our two ecosystems. For this, French Tech Lagos proves to be a powerful community to achieve this goal. This could involve establishing sustainable partnerships with key #local players like Space NXT, or relying on the #international network of the French Tech Mission to facilitate connections beyond borders, such as the recent webinar held with French Tech Casablanca. 🤩The end-of-year program promises to be intense and #dynamic, and I am very eager to share with you the achievements we have envisioned to foster #cooperation between France and Nigeria around Tech! "‘May you live in interesting times"—this phrase marked the beginning of today's Ukraine Tech Conference, organized by Diia.City.Union., reflects the reality of Ukraine over the past decade. What some see as a crisis, others recognize as an opportunity. Despite the aggressor's intention to see Kyiv fall within three days in February 2022, both the country and the nation have remained resilient. While Ukraine faces complex challenges with no straightforward solutions, the country continues to adapt, innovate, and thrive, demonstrating strength in adversity. The collaboration between tech companies and the government in Ukraine has paved the way for new digital products, positioning the country at the forefront of global digitalization. This partnership has driven innovations like the DOU app, which provides seamless access to government services and digital documentation, showing how technology can transform public administration and improve citizens' daily lives. Together, they are setting new standards in digital governance, making Ukraine a leader in modernizing services through tech-driven solutions. Today’s event has been an excellent opportunity for the tech community to reconnect in person, exchange ideas, and share insights on the current and future developments both in Ukraine and on the global stage. It fostered collaboration, highlighted emerging trends, and reinforced the importance of staying connected to drive progress in the tech industry. #UkraineTechConference #TechConference #ContioTech #InnovationInUkraine #TechCommunity #StartupsUkraine #DigitalTransformation #FutureOfTech #TechLeadership #ITIndustry #BusinessGrowth #EmergingTech #NetworkingOpportunities #TechEvent

Africa's tech landscape is exploding, but are our governments keeping up? To harness the full potential of innovation, we need policymakers who understand the tech world as much as they do policy. It's time for a serious partnership between government and tech experts. How can we create an environment where regulations foster growth and innovation? A conversation at Africa Tech Summit Nairobi looking at How Partnerships Shape Successful Tech Policies in Africa. https://lnkd.in/dZeZFusj https://lnkd.in/dzhuN8bV
