Next, thicken with plaster around the thin brass plate inserted into the clay to open the mold, and use a cutter to cut away until the lines of the plate are visible. How to Repair Cracks in Plaster Walls

Comprehensive surface prep should leave a concrete slab profiled and absorbent. To attain maximum surface adhesion and fully hold a broadcasted flake, enough resin should be used to act as primer and body coat. The other option is two separate coats (primer then body) but one coat is faster. The video documents a slab once covered by a DIY coating. After diamond grinding, a shotblaster is used to remove all fine dust. Then a Polyaspartic is applied to prime the slab and hold the flake. Expanded metal is a type of sheet metal which has been cut and stretched to form a regular pattern (often diamond-shaped) of mesh-like material. It is commonly used for fences and grates, and as metallic lath to support plaster or stucco. Expanded metal is stronger than an equivalent weight of wire mesh such as chicken wire, because the material is flattened, allowing the metal to stay in one piece. The other benefit to expanded metal is that the metal is never completely cut and reconnected, allowing the material to retain its strength. #wiremesh
