🌊🐚 Ford Credit Beach Clean 🐚🌊 Great to get some members of the HR team together and volunteer in our local community! Reducing pollution through beach clean ups is an important way to protect our beaches and marine life. A bittersweet takeaway - in roughly 2 hours, we managed to collect 10 bags of rubbish! Great that we had this impact, but sad that our beaches are so polluted. Everyone can help: 🔹️Don't leave litter, bin it! 🔹️Be mindful of what you flush - it's ends up in our oceans! 🔹️Leave plants, seaweed and seashells alone - removing from the beach destroys the natural habitat. 🔹️Think about the impact: a single cigarette butt contaminates 8 litres of water after just 1 hour soaking in the waves. 2023 is already ending. Only a few days to go. Profesionally it has been a great year full of new challenges that I have faced with the highest motivation. I've met awesome people as Manuel Alvarez Cervell who already is a reference for me having worked only 7 months together and of course my whole beloved Trucksters team. We are a young dynamic company but the most important thing is that we work as a team and if we mantain it I am sure that sky is the limit 🚀 We are in constant evolution facing new challenges without fear and focused on clients. As we know, transport not always goes as planned but efforts and transparency are not negotiable. Being part of the great Customer Success Team during 8 months led me to understand and empathise with all departments inside the company. I felt at home since the first minute. Now by the end of the year I accept the new challenge of taking care of our customers and working along my appreciated colleague Fuat Karabag who is the best support for the new duty. We will rock it man! Last but not least, the best of the year has been to keep learning everyday from both, colleagues and customers. My aim accepting Trucksters challenge was to share my knowledge adquired from experience in a great company with my new colleagues and keep learning from them day by day, and for sure it has been fully fulfilled! In summary, I can say that it has been a great year full of learnings and new experiences but there is still margin to improve and in 2024 we will bring more clients to our relay machine and keep fighting to improve driver's life quality who are our most important value. I wish everybody a great end and entrance of the year!

But before I give it to you, take it to the used car lot downtown and tell them I want to sell it and see how much they offer you for it.” The daughter went to the used car lot, returned to her father, and said, “They offered me $1,000 because they said it looks pretty worn out.” The father said, “Now take it to the pawn shop.”The daughter went to the pawn shop, returned to her father, and said, “The pawn shop offered me only $100 because it is an old car.” The father asked his daughter to go to a car club now and show them the car. The daughter then took the car to the club, returned, and told her father, “Some people in the club offered me $100,000 for it because it’s a Nissan Skyline R34, it’s an iconic car and sought by many collectors.” Now, the father said this to his daughter, “The right place values you the right way. If you are not valued, do not be angry. It means you are in the wrong place. Those who know your value are those who appreciate you. Today, I'm lucky enough to celebrate another birthday: we've made it to level 33! 32 was a fantastic year: I joined the PureCars team, experienced both personal and professional growth, and achieved so many of the goals I wanted to knock out in the year. There were so many lessons I learned at 32, but here are just a few that stood out: 1.) Recognize and Proactively Fight Burnout: Communicate when you're approaching burnout and work with your team and managers--candid, honest and respectful conversations tend to lead to stronger trust within your teams. 2.) Re-evaluate how you prioritize your to-do's: I had a bit of a process spring cleaning last year: in a world where everything needs to be done 5 minutes ago, revisit what's actually considered an emergency and what can be project-managed out. You'll save your sanity and prevent the dreaded 13/14 hour days. 3.) Don't leave friends and family on the back burner: We've got one life to live, spend it with those who care about you: work smart during the day, so that you can enjoy the quality time with loved ones after. Here's to another year of progress, growth and adventures in The Windy City!
