Ever wondered how long it takes to build a new engine? Typically, the process from design to distribution takes about 24 months. However, "facelifts" or updates take considerably less time. #ProductDevelopment #PowerOfHirth #Innovation #HirthEngines #EngineeringExcellence

We had a great crew at Polaris that routinely did a new 440 race engine in 12 months. Martin Heinrich’s experience (Mercury Snow twister) with the trust of Chuck Baxter, CAD work of Larry Hosaluk and the development crew at Polaris were first rate. We had great dedication and support from Darin Hedlund, Bob Eastman, and the entire team in Roseau. Ross Liberty was there to deliver the pipes. Miss all of the great people I met along the way

How do factors like technological innovations or specific market demands impact the development timeline of a new engine generation compared to a "facelift"?
