MARDO, under the Germany Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) program has successfully conducted a Health Management Information System (HMIS) training session in Baidoa. This initiative focused on improving disease outbreak detection, surveillance, and response, empowering health professionals with essential skills to manage and utilize health data effectively. The training brought together 24 health staff, including representatives seconded by World Vision and the Ministry of Health. Through engaging and practical sessions, participants gained valuable insights into health information systems, enhancing their capacity to make data-driven decisions in the health sector. Accurate health data collection and management are crucial for identifying trends, responding to disease outbreaks, and ensuring targeted healthcare interventions.

I have successfully completed the Monitoring & Evaluation Fundamentals course from the Global Health eLearning Center. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) are critical for measuring the effectiveness and impact of programs, and this course has equipped me with key tools to drive more informed decision-making in my work. #MonitoringAndEvaluation #SocialImpact #CSR
