In this project, we worked with Shell to identify and evaluate various solar thermochemical processes and created an economic model of a future solar plant. The insights gained from our study enabled Shell to quantitatively benchmark solar fuels against other renewable sources and highlighted potential disruptions to the solar energy sector. Since the early 2000s in Freiburg, I've had the pleasure of attending Intersolar EU every single year. It's been the perfect thermometer to measure the ups and downs in our #renewableenergyindustry. After so many years, this event has truly become a "family" gathering. It feels like coming back home for Christmas—same familiar faces, same discussions, just a year older. But you can't help loving and feeling a deep sense of camaraderie with everyone.💚 This year, I've been reflecting on a few things that have happened while we all got older: #Solar #PV technology has gone mainstream! Alongside #Wind and #BESS, it has become a fundamental pillar of the upcoming #decarbonized economy. #Greenflexiblepower solutions are now the most competitive #energy source everywhere. The maturity of our technology gives us a unique chance to play a higher value creation role. We're developing smarter projects to ease the adoption of renewable integration into the #energysystem and crafting more customized value propositions aligned with the needs of energy customers. I'm incredibly excited to join #Intersolar2024, once more, representing Uniper Renewables.
