What a pleasure (if not a bit surreal) to think through the many journeys that brought me to HAI my favorite job yet – leading and growing this awesome company. We are all taught that “no” is a complete sentence – and that is certainly true. However, my entire career, I’ve leaned into the discomfort of also saying “yes” to new experiences and challenges, even when I was afraid. Without these learning moments, I would not be the professional I am or in the position I am today. Teaching others to say yes, take risks, and discover what they are capable of is not just something I still love to do, but something I will continue to encourage all of the women in my orbit.
