Literature consistently shows that ⅔ of patients with heart failure are initially diagnosed in an acute care setting. That is a staggering number - however it makes sense given that, historically, there has not been a simple method of detecting heart failure in a community setting. Eko Health's SENSORA platform is shifting that paradigm with the ability to detect low ejection fraction, structural heart disease and AFib with a simple 15-second exam using our digital stethoscopes in the primary care or urgent care setting. It's FDA-cleared, it's been validated in real-world settings, and our team is proud to announce it is now available as an enterprise solution for health systems. #SENSORA #EkoHealth #LowEF #SHD #AFIB #HeartDisease #PrimaryCare #AIinHealthcare #medTech

Every year, 41 million people die from cancer and other non-communicable diseases (NCDs). What’s heartbreaking is that 80% of these deaths could be prevented. With its reactive approach and fragmented health data, our current healthcare system often fails to catch issues early. I’ve personally lost friends and family members to misdiagnoses and missed opportunities for preventive care. That’s why we’re building Aeon—the first multi-modal preventive health platform designed to transform healthcare from reactive to proactive. By combining whole-body MRI with blood data, genetic data, and more, we can detect diseases early and predict health risks with unprecedented accuracy. AI not only boosts diagnostic precision but also helps us reduce costs, making cutting-edge preventive care accessible to everyone. We launched our service over a month ago at our first partner clinic in the heart of Zurich and are excited to expand soon across Switzerland and Germany. The future of healthcare is proactive, and we’re thrilled about what’s to come. www.aeon.life

🚨 Exciting News in Alzheimer’s Diagnosis! 🚨 Getting an early diagnosis for Alzheimer’s and confirming the condition in the brain is ESSENTIAL for accessing FDA-approved treatments. However, long wait times for tests can delay care & access. Groundbreaking research presented at #AAIC24 offers a promising solution: high-performing blood tests in primary care! With better access to diagnosis, we can improve access to support, care, and treatment. 🌟
News from #AAIC24: Blood tests that accurately and reliably detect Alzheimer’s could improve diagnosis in primary care, making testing more accessible and less invasive. They could also provide a quicker path to research participation and treatment. bit.ly/3WGPpxF

There is so much work to be done in the field of PF and ILD to ensure that everyone gets an accurate, timely diagnosis and receives proper treatment. In this session from the PFF Summit, researchers are talking about some of the biggest disparities in PF. Did you know? 🔹 Men are three times more likely to receive a diagnosis of IPF, whereas women are more frequently diagnosed with autoimmune-related ILD, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, or lymphangioleiomyomatosis 🔹 Pulse oximeters are less accurate for people with darker skin 🔹 All-cause mortality rates are higher in rural vs. urban areas of the United States. Rural residence itself can be a risk factor for IPF 🔹 Time, resources, and knowledge are among the biggest barriers healthcare professionals face for helping patients receive proper care Tune in to this webinar to learn more about disparities in ILD, and what researchers are doing to address these problems. https://lnkd.in/g63sMJif
