We were delighted to host representatives from PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) and PT Len Railway Systems (LRS) at our headquarters in Germany (Ditzingen) last week. This visit is strengthening our ties and our ongoing collaboration to modernise Indonesia's rail infrastructure. Over the past four years, we have successfully installed several hundred Az LM axle counters in Yogyakarta and Solo Balapan and on the line between Cikarang-Cikampek, close to Jakarta. These upgrades enhance passenger safety, boost operational efficiency and represent our vision for a better, more sustainable future. By upgrading signaling systems and rail infrastructure, railway networks become safer, more reliable, and environmentally friendly. This modernisation is critical as Indonesia continues to expand its rail network to meet growing demand for passenger and freight transportation and to reduce the carbon footprint of its transportation sector.

This week on #TeamHitachi Thursday, meet Rhia Pereda, a Customer Service Representative for our autonomous metro system in Honolulu, Hawaii! Rhia is dedicated to customer service; she really enjoys helping our daily passengers on their Skyline journey. Her work is varied across the many requirements of our customer service, from answering calls to helping people onsite. 🚄 Hitachi Rail UK achieves battery train milestone! 🚄   We're thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our battery train project.
