Are you a Blocker or a Change-maker? In many discussions about adopting Dizplai tech, I often see two figures emerge in the room: the Blocker and the Change-maker. The Blocker resists change. They feel the comfort in legacy tech even if it’s outdated and coming to end of life. There's a sense of security in the status quo, but at what cost? The risk of being left behind as the world moves forward And then you have the Change-makers. They understand the value of progression, seek the most innovative solutions, and understand the journey of innovation. Blockers have dominated rooms for many years. But, the tides are turning. I’ve been seeing a wave of progressive thinking recently. I think this is propelled by fresh talent with visionary ideas, and the fact that Dizplai is now a fantastic end to end solution. Earlier this week, our founder of Sapro-Tech shared his vision, the founding of our company and why it matters. So great to see Keith Hudson leading the way to combat climate change. Sapro-Tech is a materials company, on a mission to create a series of next generation, new materials with mycelium (fungi) as their base. Our initial focus is on developing an alternative to traditional animal based leathers for the fashion, interiors & automotive coverings industries. Developing new materials takes investment, and time. Having developed a proprietary growing technique Sapro-Tech is working to release prototype materials late in 2024 for its partners to test, prior to commercial release of limited quantities during 2025 and full scale production later in 2026. What makes Sapro-Tech different is how it grows its materials, and how it will manufacture the material at scale, in a continuous non-batch based method with outstanding unit economics.
