Did you know that cabin crew careers are open to anyone, regardless of their experience or background? 👩🏻✈️ A perfect example is EasyJet’s recent recruitment campaign to find 1000 new cabin crew, with career changers among those encouraged to apply. A former dental nurse, optician, Paris police officer, opera singer, a former chef, and an ex-radio presenter were featured in the campaign to showcase the diversity among their current team. If you’d have a closer look at other airlines’ cabin crew job offers, you’d see a similar thing. For instance, the very first requirement you’ll see on Ryanair’s list is “lots of enthusiasm,” while many other ones, including SAS, Wizz Air, or Vueling, set certain age or education limits for the candidates but don’t usually require previous work experience. What kind of conclusions can we draw from this? Only one thing: it’s time to break the stereotypes! It doesn’t matter if you’re a former chef, police officer, or librarian — the doors to aviation are always open for you. If you still don’t believe us, contact our team at info@aerviva.com, and we’ll be more than happy to help you fulfill your dreams ✈️☁️ #Aerviva #Aviation #CabinCrew

Starting your journey as a cabin crew comes with the excitement of exploring not only new skies but also base cities. 🏙️ Understanding how these bases are chosen is crucial. Here's a simple breakdown: 1. Assignment in training Once you have accepted a job offer, you go through the airline's training, which can range from three to six weeks. During training, cabin crew learn safety protocols, practice emergency drills, and get familiar with aircraft equipment. This is also where you’ll be assigned your base. 2. Preference process You’ll have the chance to rank your preferred cities, however, airlines usually allocate bases based on seniority. More experienced team members are more likely to secure their top choices. 3. Living in your base city While it's encouraged for new flight attendants to reside in their assigned base city, few airlines require this. Commuting is a viable option, allowing flight attendants to live elsewhere and travel to their base when needed. 🌐 4. Commuting & flexibility When commuting, you can choose to spend your working nights in hotels or temporary apartments, providing a balance between work and personal life. 5. Home-based opportunities Today, some airlines offer the option of a home base. This provides cabin crew with the unique opportunity to work from the comfort of their home city, eliminating the need for regular commuting. Remember, it’s really important to communicate your preferences to the recruiter from the start! We're here to negotiate for our candidates. This is so true, as an ex cabin manager for 23yrs I know cabin crew have so many transferable skills they will always be an asset to any team.
‘She was just an air hostess ‘ ‘I wouldn’t have given you the position if it wasn’t for covid ‘ ‘Didn’t you just point to doors ‘ Since leaving aviation in 2020 these are just a few of comments I have had said to me. Yesterdays incident is a Reminder that ✈️ cabin crew are trained to evacuate a plane in ninety seconds. ✈️ It's a standard that all passenger aircraft are certified to meet, and it's one that proved invaluable in the recent Japan Airlines incident. ✈️ Thanks to the crew's expertise and passengers' cooperation, everyone made it off safely. ✈️ It's a reminder that flight attendants are not just there to serve coffee - they're there to save lives. ✈️ Every procedure and checklist is developed from past incidents, and it's crucial to know how to implement them under high-pressure situations. ✈️ This is a perfect example of how the aviation industry learns and adapts to ensure the safety of every passenger. ✈️ Let's take a moment to applaud the actions of the crew on this flight. I may have hung my wings however I could not be prouder to have spent most of my working life flying ! I was never just an air hostess and never will be! Think before you judge someone from their job role . They may have hidden skills which will thrive in your organisation!

Ever wonder why someone would leave an exciting cabin crew position at Ryanair? I get asked this all the time! 🚀✈️ Originally, it was my dream to be in aviation because of my love for traveling and flying. The 6 weeks of intensive training were the best part of my journey, as I got to meet so many incredible people. It truly solidified my love for connecting with others. At Ryanair, I met different crew members and passengers every day, which set me up perfectly for my current role. Handling diverse situations, including dealing with occasional aggravation, honed my ability to meet new clients and maintain strong relationships. However, I realized that my true passion lies in building relationships that lead to tangible results—generating clients and retaining candidates. With the commission I earn in recruitment, I can still fulfill my travel dreams while achieving financial success. My drive to secure this job and get through the 6 weeks of grueling training demonstrates my determination. I will always fight for what I want. Now, I'm excited to use this passion to reach new heights in a field where determination is rewarded. So if you are ever considering a career change or leaving a job you fought hard to get because you are not happy or you feel you could push yourself more, this is your sign to do it! Here's to embracing change and striving for success! 💼💪 #CareerChange #Ambition #FinancialGoals #NewBeginnings #CommissionDriven #PeoplePerson #Determination

Hospitality Ingredient • Passionate about Service to Humanity. Aspiring Air Crew ✨ Starting My Career in the Hospitality IND. Had been a life of ADVENTURE and am enjoying it 😊. National Diploma in BAM (in progress)
it's Okay to Look out for Models to be employed as Cabin Crews and High profiled receptionists or Stewards but at the end of the day I don't think that's all that matters because I'm much more concerned about the Body language and facial expressions of that individual offering an exceptional service to different personalities from all walks of life. The Hospitality industry as a whole offers Services more than Tangible products and therefore Personnel Administrators in this our industry ought to make qualities/Passion to Service a priority while Recruiting Applicants. yes appearance is the first impression but what comes next???. it's important to take that aspect seriously because trust me that's why Most INTERNATIONAL flight attendants/Cabin Crews wouldn't understand their Job description and of course they don't deliver excellent services in most cases. #HospitalityStaff #CabinCrews #FlightAttendants #Aviation #Stewards #Porters #HospitalityIndustry #Hotels #Tourism #Airlines
