🚀 Showcase Alert! September 12 at 11:30AM, Tezcat Biosciences will be presenting at LSX World Congress on the Biotech Stage! 🚀 Craig Ramirez, Ph.D. will be discussing Tezcat’s cutting-edge receptor-independent drug delivery technology, specifically targeting mutant RAS solid tumors and myeloma. Tezcat’s lead asset, TZT-102, is a revolutionary protein-drug conjugate with a novel mechanism of action. Unlike traditional therapies, TZT-102 tackles mutant RAS cancers by addressing the metabolic and phenotypic effects of mutant RAS signaling, offering a broader impact across all RAS cancers. It's designed to be resistant to drug resistance and boasts a superior therapeutic index compared to FDA-approved antibody-drug conjugates. This breakthrough offers new hope for adult patients facing these challenging conditions. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about Tezcat's game-changing innovations in oncology! #LSXWorldCongress #PrecisionMedicine #Oncology #Biotech #DrugDevelopment #LSXUSA
We recently won Top Presenter for the Life Sciences/Healthcare Track at the New York Venture Summit. If you missed this event, I will be presenting the story behind Tezcat Biosciences at the LSX World Congress USA on September 12th in Boston. I look forward to seeing you there. LSX USA Congress

Details of The Labour Party life science plan are emerging...what jumps out to LifeArc? 1/6 - Make life science a priority for DHSC 🏥 LifeArc drives basic science towards patients. Coordination between science and healthcare is vital - inc in Government. Peter Kyle Wes Streeting MP 2/6 Increase uni spinouts 🎓 🤝 LifeArc shared expertise with the recent review of spinouts, and we're supporting next steps. We're keen to ensure future initiatives reflect the needs of all the players involved, and crucially helps more health innovations reach patients faster. 3/6 Increase 'access to finance' 💷 The easier and more attractive we make it for life science companies to start, scale and stay in the UK, the better chance we have of improving patients’ lives with new innovations and maintaining the UK’s leading role in life sciences. LifeArc was active in shaping the Mansion House compact agreed by the current Government. We'll work with the next Government – whoever they are – to ensure the Compact boosts UK companies. The life sciences industry needs to demonstrate its strengths as an attractive investment – an area where LifeArc Ventures plays a key role. 4/6 Maintain R&D tax credits, review them, maintain patent box 💡 These schemes make it less expensive to do life science research in the UK - especially for the small innovative companies we work with through LifeArc Ventures. Labour saying they'll prioritise life sciences in their review of credits - great to see, given life science SMEs are uniquely dependent on them for extensive periods of 'risky' R&D. 5/6 set out key technologies for the UK to lead, including (maybe) cell and gene therapies (CGT) 🔬 CGT is very exciting and we published on the skills the UK needs to keep them accelerating ( https://lnkd.in/enwaApjq ). It's important the next Government - whoever they are - keeps this sector growing. 6/6 Much more (regulation, planning reform, skills, NHS trials, trade strategy) 🏗 LifeArc is active in all these areas and look forward to sharing 25yrs+ expertise to help inform decisions to support UK life sciences and drive more innovative health research to patients.
Our aim at LifeArc is to make life science life changing, and we will continue to work with this government and the next to deliver on that ambition. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dRUEV9Mj Today, we welcome The Labour Party's announcement of their own life sciences sector plan. The plan was launched at the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst campus, where we have drug discovery laboratories. Ahead of an upcoming general election, it is important that all political parties consider how they would support the life sciences in government – a key driver of health and wealth in the UK.

It is an incredibly exciting time for the life sciences ecosystem here in Massachusetts. In the biotech hub of Boston and across the Commonwealth, we are seeing continued growth. But with that growth, we also see numerous challenges, including federal regulation and competition from other states and countries, that require us to think ahead and prepare for the future. Today, MassBio released its Vision 2030 strategic roadmap outlining how we will advocate for policies that ensure access and opportunity for all patients and communities, support incentives that drive scientific innovation, and champion a vision for a more equitable healthcare system. In my role as Board Chair of MassBio, I am proud of how Vision 2030 positions us to drive the future of life sciences innovation in Massachusetts for years to come, working in collaboration with our members, our state government, and our communities. As we look toward 2030, we want Massachusetts to be recognized not only for the advancements we pioneer in science and health but also for the opportunities we have created for all. Make clinical, regulatory and medical research 10X faster | NyquistAI Cofounder CEO | Focus on AI for life sciences, xBCG, xNovartis, Google Accelerator, Stanford
Great insights from the Happy Hour organized by Biospring Partners and Vive Collective! As we reach the midpoint of 2024, the life sciences industry continues to experience the transformative power of #ArtificialIntelligence (#AI). Here’s a snapshot of the latest 🔥 hot and ❄ cold trends: 🔥 Trends: #AI-Driven Insights: From genomics to clinical trials, AI is reshaping our understanding and process huge volume of data that previously cannot be processed by only human intelligence and labor. ⏳ Faster, more comprehensive and global competitive landscape 💹 Faster, cheaper and better clinical trial design built by prior success ✅ Faster FDA clearance/approval 💰 Clear ROI has shown from our early adopters. #LLM (large language model)/ #GenerativeAI for drug discovery #Precisionmedicine/medical product powered by #AI ❄️ Cold Challenges: Lack of Hybrid Human Power: there seems to be parallel universes for life science and AI people. Our experience from the frontline is that senior leaders need to understand the roadmap to success and AI strategy, mid-level managers need to have a playbook to shape behavior change, task force needs clear communication and change management to understand, learn and advocate for use cases by AI. It is a learning journey and it will be messy. Ethical and Regulatory Concerns: a lot of life science companies are still learning to come up with AI policy internally and struggle to regulate employee behaviors. Data Quality and Integration: life science industry requires high fidelity data, hence vertical AI with life science specific data, know-how and empathy of workflow will thrive. General AI that can create a new image or write an email cannot fit the high bar of life science industry and may create the wrong first impression for life science knowledge workers to discourage them to try AI. What's your opinion? Shoutout to Poorya Sabounchi Binbin Chen, MD, PhD Jennifer Lum Kathy Ku Ryan Witt and all the amazing founders and investors to accelerate innovation in life science by the power of AI. #SaaS #B2B #biopharma #medicaldevices #ai #artificialintelligence #machinelearning #genAI #generativeai https://lnkd.in/gZ2mHwEd
What an amazing turnout for our Summer Pharma-tech Happy Hour! ☀️ Huge thank you to our co-hosts at Biospring Partners and to everyone who joined us on the Vive Collective patio! #pharmatech #digitalhealth
