Helping Trucking Companies Find Quality Truck Drivers to Hire Online Without Using Traditional Advertising. Family Man l Auto Hauler l Mentor
Driver turnover is not cheap... Yesterday, I posted a video sharing one reason why Truck Driver turnover rate is so high in our industry.. Today, I want to touch on the cost per driver turnover... Truck Drivers leave for various reasons, whether they find another driving job elsewhere or transition to a different industry. Regardless of the cause, driver turnover comes at a cost. I was reading a study that shows the average cost to replace a Driver is $8,234, ranging from $2,243 to $20,729 per replacement. These costs include recruiting, bonuses, testing, orientation, training, and truck sitting etc High turnover is not only costly, but also impacts future growth.. Approximately how much does it cost your fleet to replace a Driver?

Auto Transport at Lemons Hauling Services LLC Based in the DMV- Hauling Cars from A to B, Arriving at B how it was picked up at A!
I’m not in the bashing business nor am I a negative person. Some type of awareness needs to be bought to this car hauling industry. This one particular company has taking advantage of us more then once and I’m well aware that I let it happen and come to the conclusion it will not happen again. Not paying a carrier when it’s not the carrier fault is crazy. The rules that the company implement for dry run fees is made to not pay the carrier when something like that happens. It’s taking the industry down piece by piece. The dispatchers are terrible they act like you are bothering them when calling to book cars. They need to put better systems in place. Most Trucking Companies Compete for 23% of Drivers... And this is why: Most trucking companies: → Have lots of leads and little hires → Struggle to find qualified drivers → Have a high turnover rate → Have drivers who aren't very profitable → Feel like they are scraping the bottom of the barrel. There is still 77% of the driver pool out there! Don't fish in the same pond because everyone else is there... Cast a net in the ocean, and you will be overjoyed to see what you find. #truckingcompany #driverrecruitment #gettruckdrivers

Here's an overview of a trucking case study with a significant 14:1 ROI. PROBLEM Our client, a national multi-faceted trucking company with over six thousand professional drivers, had a smaller contingent of OTR drivers who were experiencing a significant increase in strains and sprains and slips, trips, and falls. They were testing with a local provider of PAT, but they felt like the tests were not job-specific and that the wrong candidates were failing the test. SOLUTION ErgoScience performed job analysis on their OTR trucking job, and then then revised the PAT to be more job-specific for their OTR driver position. We used our research-based testing algorithms for scoring the test more consistently and accurately. As a result, they experienced additional savings beyond what they were achieving with their previous local provider. #jobanalysis #physicalabilitiestesting #injuryprevention

For owner-operators who choose to go out on their own in trucking you have two options. You have to decide between leasing on with a company and obtaining your own trucking authority. Leasing on vs getting your own authority each have their own set of advantages and challenges. What is leasing on with a company? When you lease on with a company you use your own equipment and act as an independent contractor for the company as opposed to an employee. You are leasing your equipment and driver to the carrier. What is obtaining your own trucking authority? When you obtain your own trucking authority, you are your own boss responsible for all details associated with your equipment and hauling loads. When the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) issues your operating authority, they allow you to get paid for hauling loads by giving you a motor carrier (MC) number. #Trucking #OwnerOperators #truckingindustry #truckingbusiness #oweneroperator #truckerauthority

🚛 Attention Steel Companies: The Importance of Hiring Experienced and Highly Rated Drivers 🚛 I recently came across a forum where truck drivers were asking for clarification on the proper way to transport steel coils after accepting the load. This highlights the critical need for skilled drivers in the steel industry. Here’s why hiring experienced and highly rated drivers is essential: 🚛 Expertise in Handling Heavy Loads: Drivers with experience in hauling steel are well-versed in securing and balancing heavy, top-heavy loads like steel coils. They know the importance of properly chaining down loads and avoiding sudden movements that could cause swaying or tipping. 🚛 Safety First: Experienced drivers understand the intricacies of maneuvering large, heavy vehicles, especially when dealing with potentially hazardous loads. Their knowledge and skills help prevent accidents and ensure the safety of your cargo and others on the road. 🚛 Specialized Equipment Knowledge: Handling specialized equipment, such as 5th wheel doubles or multi-axle trailers, requires a deep understanding of their operation. Experienced drivers have the necessary background to operate these setups efficiently and safely. 🚛 Adapting to Adverse Conditions: Whether it's dealing with strong winds, uneven roads, or sudden stops, seasoned drivers know how to adapt and maintain control. This reduces the risk of damage to the load and ensures timely delivery. 🚛 Reliable and Consistent Performance: Highly rated drivers have a track record of reliability and consistency. This means fewer delays, reduced risks, and a more dependable supply chain for your steel products. 🚛 Peace of Mind: When you hire experienced and highly rated drivers, you gain peace of mind knowing your steel shipments are in capable hands. This allows you to focus on other aspects of your business, knowing your logistics are well-managed. Hiring experienced drivers isn't just a choice—it's a necessity for the safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of steel. Ensure your loads are handled by professionals who understand the stakes and have the expertise to get the job done right. Let’s connect to discuss how Freight Network Solution, Co. can support your steel transportation needs with our expert team. #SteelTransport #ExperiencedDrivers #FreightNetworkSolutionCo #FNS #Logistics #SafetyFirst
