Although the AI's public space has expanded beyond the boundaries of nation-states, there are tools to regulate it in ways that enhance the quality of democratic discourse. Alongside legal measures to prevent or limit the spread of harmful rhetoric, fact-checking institutions have proven effective in mitigating its negative impact. It is not only a matter of passing down the responsibility for self-regulation to stakeholders, but public authorities must also foster responsible behavior in the new digital arena through information, incentives, and regulation. #ai https://lnkd.in/d3ShH99R

The utilisation of national data assets (public sector information) is expected to accelerate in Hungary from April, due to new regulations. Data management within the governmental system will be further centralised, and various data-related services will be defined. In discussions on generative AI and other technologies requiring masses of information, the legality of input data is always an important topic. One compliant source could be the state.
