People always ask where the name HNDRX came from. Born from listening to Jimi Hendrix and sipping Hendricks Gin , our name emerged in a stroke of utter genius. We simply removed the vowels, and here we are—HNDRX. *Just to be clear – we've refined our process since then. But there's more to it. Hendrix wasn't just a musician; he was a revolutionary. He redefined what music could be, pushing boundaries and breaking conventions. At HNDRX, we channel that same spirit. We believe that the best ideas come from those who dare to defy the norm, challenge convention and think differently. Naming our business HNDRX was our way of paying homage to this mindset. It’s a reminder that innovation often comes from the most unexpected places. We didn’t follow a traditional path; we created our own. And that's how we approach everything we do. In a world that often rewards conformity, we find strength in the unconventional. We believe in the power of big ideas, audacious thinking and delicious gin. Our journey started with a moment of inspiration, and it continues with a commitment to challenging the status quo and shifting perceptions. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 : 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬? The announcement of Emily Armstrong as the new lead singer and face of Linkin Park marks a significant moment in the band's history and for the music world. Chester Bennington’s voice, presence, and emotional depth are irreplaceable—he became the soul of the band and deeply connected with millions. However, as painful as his loss remains, the essence of Linkin Park—their music, their message—deserves to live on. This move to bring Emily Armstrong into the fold is not about replacing Chester but continuing the journey that he and the band started. I consider this bold move by Linkin Park to bring Emily on the stage as ‘𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧.’ This decision holds a significant life lesson: The importance of embracing change while honoring the past. The grief of losing someone like Chester cannot diminish the impact he had, but it is equally important to recognize that new voices and new energies can carry that legacy forward, evolving it into something fresh and dynamic. Life, like music, is about transformation. Holding too tightly to what was can prevent growth and the creation of new possibilities. As fans, and as people, we must learn to open ourselves to new beginnings, even when they seem unimaginable. Emily Armstrong stepping into this role shows courage—both on her part and on the band’s. They are choosing to move forward, not away from the legacy but alongside it. The lesson? No matter how profound the loss, life keeps moving, and with it comes the opportunity to honor the past by creating a future just as worthy of respect and admiration. Watch our latest vlog " WiseTech Global (WTC) Founder Richard White Backs Vinyl Group (VNL) CEO Josh Simons" , In an enlightening conversation with John Athanasiou from Red Leaf Securities, Richard White, CEO and founder of WiseTech Global, together with Josh Simons, CEO of Vinyl Group (ASX: VNL), revisited the rationale behind White's investment in the dynamic music technology company. "Josh has that founder mentality and he's very growth-oriented," said White, explaining his decision to invest. He highlighted the pivotal changes in Vinyl Group's direction that caught his attention. "I changed my mind [about investing]... when Josh joined and brought Vampr to it and his own management abilities," White reflected on the evolution of Vinyl Group since Simons took the helm. Vinyl Group, under Simons' leadership, has launched successful platforms like Vampr, described as 'LinkedIn for musicians,' and Jaxsta, 'IMDB for music,' while also expanding into the e-commerce space with vinyl.com. White emphasized the strengthened business under Simons: "His ability to grow that business is manifestly much, much stronger than his predecessors." Simons reciprocated the optimism for the future of Vinyl Group, focusing on the balance between growth and profitability. "Strategically... we have a few different companies in our wheelhouse... I think the next six months I'll work on strategically correcting that... equilibrium," Simons stated, underlining his commitment to delivering shareholder value. White's support extends beyond capital investment to a belief in Vinyl Group's amplified market potential following strategic acquisitions. "The additional investment I saw was because there is an amplification of the capacity to go to market and do big things," White remarked, signalling his confidence in the company's future endeavours. The interview ended on a light-hearted note, acknowledging the importance of strategic discretion, with Simons joking, "If I told you [our plans] I'd have to kill you," underscoring the exciting developments ahead for Vinyl Group. Thanks Richard and Josh for your time. Note that we have an interest in VNL. #vlog #ausbiz #tradingday #ASX #music #technology $VNL $WTC

The biggest lesson one can learn from Joshua's Experiment and how it motivated me. .. For the past 8+ years I have been working on " Governance in Education & Startups" .. It's a stressful burnout and I often get dejected. When I was about to stop this effort, I read about this Joshua Washington Post experiment. .. Realization: One should NOT deliver by standing as some unknown person on the side of a walkaway, but make the same place as a powerful platform which will make people to stand & freeze to listen to us then we command with a big bang delivery. ... https://lnkd.in/g-pvidAH
