Intelligent Rail Transit or IRT It is an electric train that emits no pollution and does not require overhead cables or track construction. Best of all, it can carry up to 100 passengers per section, ten times more than a regular bus. A passing loop, also referred to as a siding or passing track, is a designated area on a single-line railway where trains traveling in opposite directions can pass each other. Additionally, passing loops allow trains or trams traveling in the same direction to overtake, contingent upon the signaling arrangement in place. The purpose of passing loops on single-line railways is to minimize delays, optimize capacity utilization, and provide flexibility in scheduling by allowing overtaking and passing maneuvers while maintaining smooth traffic flow.
