As part of our Heritage Month series, today we feature Anastasia Rouchos, Managing Director at our sister company Bannister Trust, who shares a wise and patient saying from her Greek heritage: "Unripe grapes get as sweet as honey, but at a slow pace." This saying is a reminder that growth and success take time and patience. Just as unripe grapes slowly become sweet, personal or professional progress can’t be rushed. For Stacy, it highlights the value of persistence and steady effort in achieving meaningful results. Culture: Greek We are loving the diverse wisdom and heritage of our team throughout this month! #HeritageMonth #CulturalWisdom #Patience #Growth #ProudlySouthAfrican

“Why are eulogies only for dead people?” This morning, I stumbled across a TED Talk by Andrea Driessen that got me thinking. Among all the topics she discussed, one question resonated deeply with me. “Why are eulogies only for dead people?” This is a question I’ve pondered for years after attending funerals. As I reflected on Andrea’s talk and my own experiences creating Moments Worth Remembering books, it became clear that many of us hesitate to express our deepest thoughts or compliments due to fear. Fear of rejection. Fear of disappointment. Fear of others knowing how we feel about them. Fear of not being loved. But what if the opposite is true? What if by expressing your deepest thoughts and compliments, you deepen your relationships with others? What if sharing genuine appreciation not only strengthens your connections but also helps you experience more love and fulfillment? What if your willingness to express appreciation inspires others to do the same? How might our relationships change if we made a habit of giving people the chance to hear their eulogy while they’re still here? Just imagine for a moment what the world might look like. https://lnkd.in/egzbdSzN

Friends - today's quote comes from English primatologist and anthropologist Jane Goodall. Very few people in my lifetime have ever been more dedicated to their work than Ms. Goodall. Simply put, she " walks the walk" every single day of her life. Her level of commitment and never-ending quest for excellence inspire me. Her message below is spot-on, as what we do and the way we conduct ourselves has an impact on those around us and makes a difference. Please keep this in mind as you go about your day, knowing that you have the power to inspire others. You have the power to spread kindness and optimism. You have the power to be grateful. When we emit positive vibes and bright light, those around us will benefit through a social form of osmosis. Give the world the best version of you today! #myattitudeisgratitude #serialoptimist #iaddvalue #actionsmatter #letsgettowork #maximumrevenuerecovery #maximumcustomerretention #copyrightedcollectionsprogram #RMI

This profound quote underscores the significance of resilience and character in navigating the ups and downs of life. It suggests that the true test of our inner strength lies not in the absence of challenges, but in how we respond to them. Each time we overcome a difficulty, we not only enhance our strength of character but also inspire those around us to face their own trials with courage and grace. Happy new week everyone. ✨✨ #MediationNigeria #MediationLagos #DisputeResolutionNigeria #ADRinNigeria #NegotiationSkillsNigeria #ConflictResolutionNigeria #PeacefulSettlementNigeria #MediationWorksNigeria #MediationProcessNigeria #MediationSavesTime #MediationSavesMoney #MediationBenefitsNigeria #MediationLawNigeria #MediationTrainingNigeria #MediationSkills #MediationSuccess #MediationStrategy #LagosMediation #NigeriaMediationCenter Fola Alade (ESQ.)

On the occasion of 77th Independence Day By: Reyaz Alam Social Activist and Senior Corporate Professional The crematoriums and graveyards are full of ashes of such people who thought that the world cannot run without us..! Be humble: Open Message from Reyaz Alam to our countrymen 🇮🇳 Reflections on Humility: Understanding Our Place in the World In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it's easy to become entangled in the belief that the world revolves around us. We invest time and energy into building our careers, nurturing relationships, and leaving our mark on society. Yet, a humbling truth often escapes our grasp – the world continues to spin, regardless of our presence. As we walk through life's journey, it's essential to pause and reflect on the impermanence of our existence. The crematoriums and graveyards stand as poignant reminders of the transient nature of life. They hold the ashes of individuals who once believed that the world couldn't function without their contributions. While our pursuits and ambitions are undoubtedly meaningful, let's take a moment to embrace humility and acknowledge the grand tapestry of existence. Each thread woven into this intricate fabric plays a unique role, but no thread is irreplaceable. The world is an ensemble, where every individual contributes their notes to the symphony of life. This isn't meant to discourage us from pursuing our passions or striving for excellence. Instead, it's an invitation to cultivate a sense of perspective and gratitude. Our accomplishments, no matter how significant, are drops in the ocean of time. Embracing this perspective empowers us to lead with empathy, kindness, and a deeper understanding of our interconnectedness. Let's cherish the moments we have, humbly recognizing that our journey is but a fleeting chapter in the book of human history. As we strive to make our mark, let's also leave behind a legacy of compassion, wisdom, and the realization that the world can, and will, carry on without us. The ashes in crematoriums and graveyards whisper a profound truth – our significance lies not in the magnitude of our impact, but in the essence of our character and the ripples of goodness we create. #Humility #Perspective #Legacy #Interconnectedness
