I highly commend this to anyone working in the real estate development ecosystem - investors, developers, designers, builders, and owner operators. A lot of confusion exists in the industry currently because solution providers are trying to collapse multiple concepts into one - offsite/modular/volumetric/factory built. The key to increased construction productivity is automation. It will be automation off site AND on site. Building in a factory may or may not be the answer. Building volumetrically may or may not be the answer. But automation is always going to the key driver of increased productivity regardless of site, product type, or material type.
