Africa has a very important role in restoring the planet's degraded lands and ecosystems!!! By supporting Africa's initiatives such as its commitments to reverse land degradation, reduce desertification, to bend the curve of greenhouse gas emissions and put an end to wildlife extinction, the whole world has everything to gain. Because land degradation is a global problem; soil quality is declining worlwide (40% of the planet's land is degraded), what endangers half the world's population. Africa has the best solutions to move the world towards a secure and climate resilient future, but faces the toughest challenges such as poverty and people's vulnerabilty to climate and environmental stress.

Bharat will develop 26 million hectares of drylands to restore it for climate smart integrated #farm2factory2fork projects, creating thousand plus smart rural enclaves and millions of entrepreneurs and new jobs. This restoration is a visionary project of our Hon’ble Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji , It will surely help the world in meeting 17 SDG goals with an inclusive cooperative Public Private Partnership model. It will help in solving problem of hunger, inequality, climate change causing food-feed-fuel scarcity, creating decent jobs in agriculture and value addition jobs for micro entrepreneurs. One world One family वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् सहकार से समृद्धि This Project might take 25 years to complete , but it’s benefits will be available to the world for next 1000 years. Development of 26 million hectares will require minimum funding of 1 Trillion $ for restoring health of Mother Nature. Rest growth will happen on its own with the right development model in place. It’s a planet scale project for Bharat and similar scale can be contemplated for African region as well.
