Have you ever wondered how HA5 High Density Mineral Bond performs against other surface treatments? In 2020 a city we work with decided to run a test between HA5 High Density Mineral Bond and a premium seal coat. The city's team selected a suitable street for the test and applied the seal coat product and HA5 within two weeks of each other in similar conditions. You can see below that immediately after the application, the seal coat actually has a deeper black appearance and looks slightly better than the HA5. However, the real question is how has each treatment performed over time and which ultimately provided the most value. Continue scrolling through the images, and you can see them for yourself. After the initial, the seal coat arguably looked better. But looks aren't everything. 4 years later we revisited the project to see how the HA5 and the premium seal coat held up. We discovered that the seal coat was virtually gone while the HA5 is still there, continuing to provide protection and cost savings for the underlying pavements even after 4 years. #pavementpreservation #publicworks #infrastructure #engineering #innovation #performance #assetmanagement

MUELLER MODEL KLS-2FS Mueller Environmental Designs has developed various ways to remove large liquid volumes from pipelines without the need for additional downstream separation while also accommodating footprint restrictions. Our KLS-2FS Finger Skid configuration is a highly versatile design, especially useful where access and topography preclude large tank-style vessels. Like all Mueller equipment, it is designed to meet the unique specifications of each installation, and we've configured the finger storage in an astounding range of sizes. All Mueller KLS separators utilize the Helical Coil Technology, giving every design the same level of high efficiency separation and protection for downstream equipment. The popular KLS series is known for its reliability. In hundreds of installations in all manner of conditions spanning over a two decades of service, no KLS unit has ever failed. KLS slug catchers can also be used in tandem with the Mueller Mist Elimination Waste Tank vessels to allow even faster dumping. 💡 KLS SLUG CATCHER ADVANTAGES • Highly versatile, accommodating heavy liquid loads with high separation efficiency • Eliminates need for additional downstream separation • Reduces operating and maintenance costs (no replacement filters or moving parts) • Significantly increased throughput (no downtime for filter changes) • Enables installation where access and terrain preclude large tank vessels • Exceptional performance record: No KLS unit has ever failed #MuellerEnvironmentalDesigns #ProvenUnderPressure #BuiltToLast #MUELLERmodel #EngineeredToPerform #PatentedTechnology

Imagine this: you're overseeing operations in a coastal facility, where the air is salty and corrosive winds threaten your equipment's integrity. Or perhaps you're managing a chemical plant where harsh substances pose a constant risk to electrical components. In these critical environments, durability and reliability are non-negotiable. At TITR ENERGO, we've seen firsthand the impact of these challenges. That's why we install standard electrical panels into stainless steel enclosures. These enclosures offer a shield against corrosion, ensuring your equipment remains protected and operational. If you're navigating similar conditions and need a solution that withstands the elements, let's have a conversation. Together, we can tailor panels to suit your specific needs and environment, ensuring longevity and performance that you can rely on. Reach out today at 954-330-8676 or np@titrenergo.com to explore how we can safeguard your equipment and operations. #rittal #stainlesssteel #custombuilt #panelboard #ullisted

Did you know explosion-proof lighting dates back over 100 years? Miners originally worked by the light of oil lanterns or even open-flame candles on their hats. If they encountered flammable gas, then it would ignite and cause an explosion. When electricity was introduced to coal mining in the late 1800s, it initially solved the problem of providing light without endangering miners. In 1913, sparks from exposed wires caused a tragic explosion that claimed the lives of 439 coal miners. In response, the industry spurred the development of explosion-proof lighting that could confine inevitable sparks within protective layers, preventing the ignition of surrounding gases. The US National Electrical Code (NEC) soon created classifications for hazardous locations, with guidelines for installing electrical equipment in dangerous environments. Rig-A-Lite was established in 1938 to support the rugged explosion-proof lighting requirements of the drilling industry, and quickly earned a reputation for quality, dependability, and performance. Today, our focus has expanded to provide long-lasting products for a vast array of harsh industrial environments, including petrochemical, food processing, water treatment, and steel production. Did you know? A 1.5% improvement in density leads to a 10% improvement in pavement life. George Chang of Transec Group discusses how intelligent compaction and thermal mapping with Veta can improve not only density but also smoothness and more. “If you measure it, you can trace what may have gone wrong,” he says. Check out a snapshot of this job—notice the relationship between paver stops and roughness! #worldofasphalt2024
