The power of collaboration across borders... ... when athletes, teams, and supporters from 9 countries unite is truly inspiring. As a proud partner of Team Aker Dæhlie, we're excited to experience this in action. And we did - as the season kicked off in the Norwegian mountains this weekend. We were thrilled to be part of the journey, witnessing solid performances and meaningful interactions with our partners. At Pexip, we believe the most successful partnerships go beyond the obvious—just like in sports, they’re about teamwork, strategy, and shared values. That’s why our collaboration with Team Aker Dæhlie isn’t just about sponsorship—it’s about creating real opportunities for co-activation, innovation, and growth together. We’re excited about the season ahead. This is just the beginning of what we can achieve when we come together—beyond the race tracks into new opportunities for growth and success. Here’s to the season ahead—pushing boundaries, creating impact, and achieving BEYOND together!
Exciting Times at Team Aker Dæhlie - Team BEYOND! It’s hard to believe that seven months have already passed since I stepped into the role of General Manager for Team Aker Dæhlie. In that time, we’ve continued to build a strong, united and diverse team, bringing together knowledge, resources, and athletes from a total of 9 different nations in the sport of cross-country skiing. This weekend, we kicked off the season at Beitostølen with a fantastic start! Not only did we get some strong results, but we also took a big step in activating our partners and sponsors more. At Team Aker Dæhlie, we believe sport and business share so much in common—teamwork, diversity, strategy, vision, and culture—and these are the pillars that make our team strong. At Beitostølen, we brought our partners together for a Kick-Off session, where we explored co-activation opportunities and discussed how we can engage and inspire each other in the months and years ahead, and to explore how we can collaborate BEYOND the cross-country ski tracks. We also created content, met with excited athletes, held technique courses for cross-country skiing, and gave everyone the chance to try a sit-ski for the first time. And, of course, we enjoyed some great conversations and bonding over dinner in the evening. Looking ahead, Team Aker Dæhlie is committed to inspiring our partners in a new way, fostering diversity, and helping to build the profiles of athletes within the sport. We’re excited about the opportunities for co-creation and the possibilities of what we can achieve together with our incredible partners. Here’s to the season ahead—together, we can achieve BEYOND! Interesting thought by Alessandro Soldati 🦀 ⛷️ He is right, if you look at the costs for a single day and for a family... 💰 The only way to "beat the system" is to purchase multi-day passes or the #EngadinCard365 and ski for more than 12-14 days in a season 😉 📈 Plus you get free lifts in summer. 🏂 Of course, skiing is getting more and more expensive... but considering the work that needs to be done with so low natural snow levels.... the prices might actually be correct. Look at this article by 20MIN & tio/20minuti, very interesting insights and prices breakdown: 🇮🇹 Italian: https://lnkd.in/dPJ7pD3c 🇩🇪 German: https://lnkd.in/dYqQk_aG
116 CHF for a day in St. Moritz: Swiss experience or cash machine? 🏔️ I love skiing, but every time I swipe my card for a lift ticket, I wonder: Is this still about the mountains, or just the money? Yes, the slopes are incredible, the views unmatched, and the facilities top-notch—but 116 CHF just to get on the lifts? Add food, rentals, and parking, and it feels more like a luxury tax than a day of fun. Switzerland’s #ski resorts are legendary, but at these prices, are they becoming less about the experience and more about the transaction? What do you think: Are these prices justified—or is skiing in #Switzerland turning into a privilege for the few? 👇

The discussion around hospitality season extension is in full swing. While I highly respect the excellent work of Heinz Hunkeler and his Kulm Hotel St. Moritz team, it is very interesting that Forbes Forbes Travel Guide features this iconic grand hotel as a late summer destination that already closes its summer season doors on 8 September. Can this be real? 💡If you are interested in learning how to make the most out the off-season business and want to learn how to extend seasons, have a look at my recent publication that you find under comments. #hospitality #luxury #innovation #futurereadiness #viabledesign
We are delighted to have been featured in Forbes as the ideal destination for late summer mountain vacations! "Swiss mountain village St. Moritz may be synonymous with skiing, but late summer is an absolutely splendid time to visit too. You can be just as active in the mountains, enjoy the magical vistas of the Engadin, and best of all, escape the scorching summer heat." Thank you Rana Good for the wonderful feature. Really thrilled to share another paper on transit-to-parks. This one focuses on the experiences of transit riders in the Wasatch Front. We find significant interest in transit-to-parks services but limited availability. Transit is used to go hiking, mountain biking, skiing & more. Lots of tremendous insights from our participants about their motivations, constraints, negotiations, and the policy changes that could address their constraints. This was made possible by our awesome team with Keunhyun Park, Dong-ah Choi, and Yiyang Wang and by funding by Utah Transit Authority. The paper is here: https://lnkd.in/gj_N4_h6

Which ski resorts have the longest slopes? #AnalyticsArts analysed data from Ski Resort info. During these festive days, many people in Italy and Europe are on a skiing holiday. Did you know that, of the top 50 ski resorts, 18 are in France and only 5 in Italy? The ski resort with the highest elevation, among the top 50, is Breckenridge, in the US, with 3914 metres. The ski resort with the most lifts is Les Portes du Soleil, with 165 lifts. Prices in the US are significantly higher, with a price of 317€ at Veil and always above 250€ for a day pass. The % of slopes classified as ‘black’ is also much higher in the US: at the Big Sky Resort in Montana, the % of difficult slopes is over 50 %. And you, did you know this information? Where are you going to ski? #AnalyticsArts #Skiing #skiresort #datanalytics #datavisualization

under the reign of corvus V Element zero of the crows, the corvus was designed to ensure high-speed gravitational stability on the peaks of Chamonix. This fifth version is a veritable renaissance, with the addition of the triptic double rocker, classic camber and pintail, designed to project the corvus into a new dimension of modern skiing. The immediate consequence of this technological arrogance is a supercharged pivot to accompany and support its exceptional acceleration capacity. The refocusing of directional forces under the heel increases maneuverability tenfold, widens the field of possibilities and, all in all, exudes / exhale pleasure, our stated objective. The model of choice for the new wave of Chamonix skiers led by Sam Favret and Virgil Didier, this fifth version retains Bruno and Camille's original vision: a dynamic ski for negotiating narrow passages and super-powered for accelerating in open spaces. The corvus V thus remains in line with its original intention, but with the contribution of modern freeride: immediate pivot, energetic pop and virile flex to absorb shocks on landing. “The Corvus has always been a representation of the diverse terrain of Chamonix. In this latest version, the ski has been modernized to be more playful and maneuverable, while staying true to its roots as the ultimate tool for high-speed stability and control across all snow types.” It perpetuates the myth of the ultimate high-mountain ski. Always dressed in pink, a symbol of its elegance and strength. A pink that stands out in the morning light of the high mountains, when the corvus arrives on its hunting ground. > https://lnkd.in/dXmAe7M4 w/ the tank crow Sam Favret video - Clustr films #blackcrows #skiing
