I needed a couple of days to process all the impressions from #AIunboxed last Wednesday 😅 I could list 20 takeaways from all the break-outs, exhibits, presentations and conversations but I'll just share 3 things that stuck with me. 🚀 The same message kept coming back: "A.I. is a general purpose technology that is evolving at dazzling speed and has the potential to disrupt all sectors. The only way forward is to start experimenting to understand how A.I. can help tackle challenges that are relevant to you." We have a great ecosystem of companies that are there to help you, from understanding the possibilities up to implementing real solutions. If we managed to bring that message across (and I think we did), we succeeded. 👏🏼 The spontaneous applause when Cecilia Bonefeld-Dahl denounced that European companies spend more money on compliance than on R&D. She also stressed the lack of venture capital and a true single market. She urged the audience to stop focussing on fear and start running to invest in and work with A.I., which clearly resonated with the room. 🔍 The highly engaging keynote by Ethan Mollick brought a ton of insights, but what stayed with me most was his statement "I think our education systems will figure out how to adapt, but I am not sure about the apprenticeship model that our companies apply with novice employees." This hints on one of the many profound ways in which A.I will transform our life, work and education. Hard to predict, but important to reflect upon. I had a blast being part of the team that organised this event. There were too many people involved to name them all. So just a special shout out to our event managers Anaïs Lorette and Lise Vercheval. You rock ladies 🤘🏼

Has it already been three years?   It truly baffles me sometimes how time really flies – it feels like it was just yesterday that we rolled out Project X and here we are ready, and super excited to launch Project X 3.0!   Back in 2022, we launched the Project X training series, designed to excite and elevate our people’s capabilities, encompassing organization, culture, tools, and methodologies.  Our aim was never to create just another classroom format training program. Keeping our talent engaged, motivated and interested in an authentic yet fun manner was the goal. It's also about evolving our competence and unlocking the potential within everyone – and what a transformative journey it has been!   2022: Project X 1.0 – Unlock Your Inner X saw us flicking on the innovation switch. We cultivated a mindset focused on solutions and new generation of innovative thinkers. We saw   2023: Project X 2.0 – Spark Your Imagination brought us outdoors where we threw different teams together to solve hilarious but challenging briefs under intense pressure, in a “Hot House” (also known as the petri-dish for innovation), all in the good name of unlocking potential.   While I take a retrospective look at what we have achieved, I am eager for us to do more. Having seen my fair share of impactful campaigns and creative ideas, it’s always a question of what’s next?   As the world embraces AI, the question on everyone’s mind is about how do we harness, collaborate and effectively utilize this transformative technology?   We believe the evolution of AI could possibly lie in the concept of the Super Individual.   In the next few weeks, ‘Project X 3.0 – Super Individual' will be making its grand entrance!   From inspiring imagination to fostering creation, Project 3.0 will delve into the concept of the Super Individual, guiding our people to deeply understand AI's role and the way of interaction.   I am excited to share that this series will culminate in the 'Generative AI Creation Challenge,' where we will be challenging our teams with an ultimate task.   I get the pleasure of announcing the theme and judging the submissions next week, and I am very sure we will be receiving some insanely creative entries soon enough.   Watch this space for updates on ‘Project X 3.0 – Super Individual' – and do let me know what does AI mean to you.  #ProjectX #WeberShandwickChina #AI #Midjourney #Suno #Runway #Chatgpt

The event gathered visionaries and thought leaders to discuss the future of AI and its transformative potential over the next decade. Here are some of the key insights: 1. AGI Roadmap to 2034: Nick Davidov’s session on AGI painted a comprehensive picture of how advanced AI will shape our lives and industries by 2034. The emphasis on ethical considerations and societal impacts was particularly thought-provoking. 2. Future of Leadership and Decision-Making: Dr. Julia Lampert unveiled the “Future of Strategic Foresight 2035” study, highlighting how AI will revolutionize decision-making processes in businesses, potentially outpacing human strategists. 3. Human-AI Communication: Rana Gujral’s insights into making AI communication more human-like were fascinating. The development of AI systems that can understand emotions, humor, and sarcasm is poised to redefine our interactions with technology. 4. Technological Advancements in Companies: Hassan Sawaf discussed the impending “Bot-Economy” and how cognitive agents will handle most business transactions. This shift will fundamentally change business processes and value chains. As the CEO of Careship, a startup dedicated to revolutionizing elderly care also through AI, these discussions were incredibly relevant. At Careship, we are harnessing AI to provide better, more personalized care to the elderly, ensuring they lead comfortable and dignified lives. The insights gained from the summit will undoubtedly influence our future strategies and innovations. It was also a fantastic networking opportunity. I met so many inspiring individuals and potential collaborators, like Michael Steinhauser, Alexander De Ridder, Harald Köpping Athanasopoulos, Sven Gabor Janszky, Martin Krill, Grégoire Colombet - to name just a few. 🚀 Excited to Share My Learning Journey in AI Career Essentials with alx_africa Two weeks into the 6-week online course with alx_africa "AI Career Essentials (AiCE)" program, and I'm already diving deep into the world of Artificial Intelligence! 🌐💡 📚 Week 1 Recap: 🔹 Explored the fascinating history of AI and debunked common myths surrounding it. 🔹 Learned about leveraging AI in the workspace, its capabilities, limitations, and the ethical considerations that come with it. 🔹 Delved into understanding personalities, professional etiquette, and navigating the AI-driven work environment. 🔍 Week 2 Highlights: I immersed myself in the realm of Language Large Models (LLMs) with a ChatGPT crash course. 🔹 Mastered essential skills like time management, fostering a growth mindset, and developing grit. 🔹 Explored the dynamics of teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and maximizing productivity with Google Workspace.
