Recently I read study that The Sales Management Association produced. It had a list of the Challenges that Sales Reps say they have and 43% cited Training & Development. For my friends at SERVPRO and BELFOR Property Restoration and Paul Davis, I ask if you have a Training & Development Program for your Sales Reps. Interestingly enough, when Leadership was asked the same question: 47% said Recruiting & Hiring. Stay tuned because we are about to introduce a solution to both the Leadership AND the Sales Rep version of the greatest challenges.

Leaders are like a steady beating drum, and consistency is key. They do what they say and say what they do, day in and day out. As a result they earn trust and lead by example. On our companywide sales monthly meet up this week, our CEO Ron Leonhardt was interviewed by one of our top sales leaders. Ron has earned immense trust and leads by example every single day. And he was talking about routine and consistency being key to his success. You'll find this same thing among the top CEO's in the world. A few months back I shared mine. My routine is what keeps me grounded. It starts my day off right. There is a difference when I do the below vs. not doing the below. 4:30 a.m. wake up 4:40 a.m. meditation 4:50-5:45 a.m. reading and writing 5:45-6:30 a.m. working on something on my business, not in it. 6:45 a.m. leave for the gym 7-8 a.m. gym 8:30-9 a.m. arrive at the office for my day Consistency & Routine may be boring, or scary, or hard - but at the same time proven to be very important among the top leaders in the world.
