Do you blame others( e.g. stupid competitors who “gave it away”; overly cautious credit officers who required too many covenants; the pricing committee; the customer who didn’t level with you; etc.)? Important topic but it should be shaped in a format that is doable for operators and in a way that also feels comfortable for the player. An operator has a responsibility to track / recognise excessive gambling behavior, and act on this, but it should not become a matter of patronizing the player. The player also has his own responsibility. I am curious how the new Dutch rules regarding "contact moment" and "net deposit limit per month" will be experienced by players. Hopefully our "RG Smart Assistant" and "Budget Check" tool can help operators comply with the new law while still allowing the player to have a great onboarding and playing experience.
