In 1989, Holman launched the original customer-focused Partners In Excellence (PIE) program, which rewarded employees for providing excellent customer service. This program included profit sharing based on achieving the annual budget and three Partners of the Year awards—one each from sales, finance, and operations. As part of our #Holman100 celebration, we're taking a trip back to 1989 when the first-ever Partners of the Year posed with then-President Mike Laporta. *Fun Fact: Among those winners was Ken Haas, who is still with the company today!
