As part of my interior design studies at KLC School of Design, I’ve explored a subject close to my heart—sustainability in interior design. In my essay, I analyse two contrasting approaches to sustainable practices. The first case study focuses on Water’s Edge, a modern property by HollandGreen Architecture, Interiors & Landscapes architects, where science and technology drive the sustainability strategy. The second is Ett Hem, a boutique hotel in Stockholm by Studioilse, which takes a more sensory and human-centred approach to sustainability.
