This is smart. It will support the mental health of the hostages. Not only will they automatically differentiate their female rescuers from the all-male Hamas terrorists, but studies have shown that people in emergency situations (both people suffering from emergencies themselves and emergency response professionals) respond better to instructions from female voices. They feel more calm, and their physiological stress response is less, so they can respond more effectively. Evidently, there is a deep primal association between the female voice and a sense of care and compassion. This instinct is not conditioned by society - it is based in objective truth. The science of personality shows that females are, on average, significantly higher in compassion than men. Compassion is one of the two aspects of agreeability, which is one of the "Big Five" personality traits that can be reliably measured. I was intrigued by how HotStar successfully handled over 10 million concurrent users during the 2019 World Cup, which I fully experienced through their app for the first time. In my opinion, a significant contribution that a testing team should make here is to recreate such massive user traffic in a lab setting without incurring excessive costs. My interest led me to a post authored by HotStar's team, revealing their use of Gatling to simulate this level of load. It was interesting to learn that Gatling outperforms JMeter in terms of scalability. I've noticed its superior efficiency, mainly due to the Akka Framework and Asynchronous Non-Blocking I/O. Honestly, a Yes vote won't affect you if you are not Aboriginal. Take a listen to Julian Hill. It's time to move forward and do the right thing. You won't lose any rights and the taxpayer will benefit from properly targeted policies, informed by local communities, that will lift the health and social determinants for Aboriginal peoples. We ought to be ashamed of the gap between Indig and non-Indig Australians. It's a disgrace. A Yes vote will close the gap and we can all be proud that we're not living under the lie of terra nullius and it's consequences upon first nations peoples. This is our opportunity to right the historical wrongs that have impacted so severely on the original inhabitants of this land. Time to level the playing field. And, unfortunately like Julian, I am greatly concerned about the impacts upon first nations peoples if a No vote is returned. They have carried a huge burden. They have felt maligned and unheard in their own country. The world is watching. Internationally, we have no right to point fingers when we don't/won't listen to a clearly defined request that first nations peoples be recognised in our constitution. If you're not Aboriginal it's not a big deal because it won't affect you; but spare a thought for first nations people and if that doesn't do it for you, think about how the world will view a No vote. Might as well lock in the stereotype Racist Australian. Is that really who we are?
