Ganpati Bappa Morya! May Lord Ganesha bless you with wisdom, prosperity, and good fortune. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi! Growing up in Odisha and having lived a few years in Kolkata, I’ve seen how festivals are celebrated with incredible grandeur and excitement. Festivals are a huge part of life here, filled with joy, color, and community involvement. For me, Ganesh Chaturthi is especially close to my heart. It wasn't just about devotion; it was a crash course in event execution. I remember one year when the tent we had set up was blown away by strong winds just hours before the event. At the moment, it felt overwhelming, but we regrouped quickly. Within hours, we rebuilt the pandal, organized food for thousands of visitors, and managed the crowd—all while staying within a tight budget. Looking back, it was a defining moment that taught me resilience and crisis management. These experiences gave me skills I carry into my work today: ✅ Managing last-minute challenges with calm and focus ✅ Sticking to a budget while maintaining quality and impact ✅ Coordinating food and beverage for large crowds ✅ Handling crowd control with efficiency and safety Ganesh Chaturthi isn't just a celebration—it's where I learned the foundations of event management, teamwork, and leadership. 🎉🙏 What’s a festival or life event that has taught you valuable skills? Share your story below! 👇 #GaneshChaturthi #FestivalOfIndia #Leadership #Event #Management #Teamwork #Odisha #Kolkata #India

Today is Makarsankranti. I hope you get the right wind speed, strong manjha, and a controllable kite to enjoy this beautiful festival. If you are in Jaipur, you can't miss the unofficial lantern festival after sunset. Jaipur looks surreal during that and the best view can be enjoyed from Nahargarh fort. Also, don't forget to enjoy the winter season with revri, gazzak, and til sweets. Happy Makarsankranti, Pongal, and Uttarayan! #makarsankranti #pongal #uttarayan #linkedin LinkedIn LinkedIn Guide to Creating

Are You the Soan Papdi at Work? We’ve all seen it during festivals—soan papdi being passed around from one person to the next, never really landing anywhere for long. Sometimes, at work, you might feel like that box of soan papdi—constantly shifted from task to task, with no ownership or focus. Storytime: Meet Arjun, a dedicated employee who took on every task thrown his way. Whether it was his job or not, Arjun was the go-to person. He wanted to be helpful, but over time, he realized he was losing his sense of direction. He wasn’t able to give his best to any one task because he was too busy juggling everything. As a result, his contributions felt diluted, and his own goals took a backseat. How Did He Break the Pattern? • Learn to Say No (Politely): Arjun started setting boundaries. Instead of taking on every task, he assessed what aligned with his priorities and politely declined the rest. • Delegate or Redirect: If a task wasn’t for him, he redirected it to the right person, or delegated it, ensuring the work still got done without overwhelming himself. • Communicate Clearly: Arjun communicated with his manager about his core responsibilities. This helped set expectations and gave him room to focus on what truly mattered. Remember, it’s okay to stop being the soan papdi—to prioritize, delegate, and create space for meaningful work. Stay excited this festive season Follow us Gagandeep Siidhu for more #soanpapdi #diwali #happydiwali #diwaliseasons #workplace #lifebalance

Reflecting on the Magic of Navratri 🌟 As I look back on the recently concluded Navratri celebrations, I can’t help but feel grateful for the joy, energy, and memories it brought. 💃✨ There’s something truly magical about Navratri in Gujarat – the vibrant colors, the music, and the spirit of Garba that brings together people from all walks of life. Dressed in traditional attire, dancing late into the night with thousands of others, it’s an experience that fills your heart with happiness. What made this Navratri extra special for me was balancing both work and celebration. From busy days at work to evenings filled with Garba dancing, it reminded me how important it is to embrace both your professional life and the joy of festivals. There’s nothing quite like switching from work mode to celebration mode, and letting the energy of the festival recharge you. After living in Gujarat for over 14 years, Navratri has become one of my favorite festivals. It’s not just a celebration – it’s a reminder of the culture, warmth, and peace that this state offers. The sense of community, where backgrounds, religion, and status fade away, and all that matters is the rhythm and joy of the dance, is truly special. Now that the festivities are over, I’m left with beautiful memories and the anticipation of next year’s celebration. What festival do you look forward to, and how do you balance work and celebration? #Navratri2024 #FestivalReflections #GarbaMemories #WorkLifeBalance #CulturalFestivals #GujaratVibes

Life Is Unpredictable—Cherish Every Moment The recent tragedy of the gas tanker blast in Jaipur is a stark reminder of how unpredictable life can be. Despite all the precautions and planning we do, some events are simply beyond our control. It’s a sobering thought that none of us truly knows what the next moment holds. This isn’t meant to scare us but to inspire us to live more fully—embracing the people we love, the work we care about, and the simple joys we often take for granted. Life is fragile, yet beautiful. Let’s make an effort to: • Spend quality time with loved ones. • Appreciate the little wins. • Focus on what truly matters. While we can’t predict the future, we can ensure that each moment we have is lived with purpose and gratitude. What’s one thing you’re grateful for today? Let’s honor the present together. #LifeLessons #Gratitude #LiveInTheMoment #Mindfulness #CherishEveryMoment #LifeIsPrecious #Inspiration #PersonalGrowth

Yes, my name is Chinmayee "Panda". Yes, I am from Odisha! Yes, "Panda" is a popular surname here. When I moved to Delhi, I anticipated challenges, but confusing people with my surname? - nope But let's shift gears – today, we're talking about my home state, O.D.I.S.H.A. but basics first, ig? "Odisha" is where I'm from. "Odia" is our language. "Odissi" is our dance form. (I hope now you won't get "confused" anymore.) Now, WHY Odisha is no push-over? 1. we handle cyclones like a pro - best disaster management modules 2. ever heard of Raja Festival? - we celebrate menstruation here 3. our cultural legacy is global - think of Puri and the iconic Rath Yatra festival 4. Quality of life? - THE BEST. real estate prices are shooting for a reason. 5. beaches-mountains-forests: we have it all check out Puri beach, Mahendragiri hills, and Satkosia So, Next time, you think about India, remember ODISHA - we maybe small, but we're definitely... India's Best Kept Secret! PS - Have you ever visited Odisha?
