Festivals are a huge part of life here, filled with joy, color, and community involvement. For me, Ganesh Chaturthi is especially close to my heart. It wasn't just about devotion; it was a crash course in event execution. I remember one year when the tent we had set up was blown away by strong winds just hours before the event. At the moment, it felt overwhelming, but we regrouped quickly. Within hours, we rebuilt the pandal, organized food for thousands of visitors, and managed the crowd—all while staying within a tight budget. Looking back, it was a defining moment that taught me resilience and crisis management. He wanted to be helpful, but over time, he realized he was losing his sense of direction. He wasn’t able to give his best to any one task because he was too busy juggling everything. As a result, his contributions felt diluted, and his own goals took a backseat. How Did He Break the Pattern? • Learn to Say No (Politely): Arjun started setting boundaries. Instead of taking on every task, he assessed what aligned with his priorities and politely declined the rest. • Delegate or Redirect: If a task wasn’t for him, he redirected it to the right person, or delegated it, ensuring the work still got done without overwhelming himself. • Communicate Clearly: Arjun communicated with his manager about his core responsibilities.
