Since our inception in 2018, the HSA has proudly accomplished significant milestones and made remarkable strides in advancing the Home Staging industry. However, as we reflect on our journey, it's evident that the time for change has arrived. In order to propel ourselves to greater heights and expand our reach, we must evolve. Our vision is to reach more individuals, garner greater recognition for our industry, and ensure that our impact is felt more profoundly. By embracing change, we pave the way for enhanced visibility and broader engagement, enabling us to make an even more substantial contribution to the Home Staging community. In order to facilitate further growth, it is imperative to enhance participation within the association and implement structural modifications aimed at decentralising its image and operations. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that the Home Staging Association is now welcoming a newly-appointed Board, who will steward the association in this new phase as it transitions to member governance. Welcome, new HSA Board: Natalie Evans - President Gosia Zurowska - Vice President Lazer Levy - Treasurer Sanja Radovanovic - Advisor Paloma Harrington - Advisor Together, we will redefine our strategies, amplify our efforts, and forge ahead with unwavering determination. The time for change is now, and we're ready to seize it—together, we will shape the future of Home Staging and leave an indelible mark on the industry. #homestaginguk #hsacommunity #industrygrowth #membersgovernance #newleadership #professionaldevelopment #futureofhomestaging

Today, the American Association of Municipal Executives reached 300 founding members and is already cruising towards 400. On Monday, we had hit 200 members. Founders are excited and can't wait to get started building this organization. AAME members want to be connected. They want to contribute to something that is greater than themselves. And they recognize that not only are we in a time that requires a new approach, but that AAME is the vehicle in which they can be the change they want to see. The public sector paradigm shift I have been talking about is real. It is here. And more than 300 people are going to "shape the shift." We could get a wave of last minute registrations tomorrow because the FOMO is real, ladies and gentlemen. Are you going to be one of them? Today, you can sign up and become a founder. Tomorrow, you can help us start building. In the future, you will be able to say that you were a part of it. Because rest assured -- the AAME is going to completely re-imagine how a professional organization for city and county managers should educate and advocate on their behalf. 🌟Leadership, Governance, and an Inspiring Encounter at the Condo Conference🌟 This past Sunday, I had the privilege of meeting Steve Paikin —a true icon in Canadian journalism and public discourse—at the Condo Conference. Best known for hosting The Agenda on TVO, Steve is renowned for his ability to distill complex topics into thoughtful, balanced discussions that resonate with audiences far and wide. His keynote speech was a highlight of the event, offering a refreshing and insightful perspective on condominium governance. Steve, not being an industry insider, drew an analogy from his experience as a condo owner and political news coverage: condominium governance, he suggested, is a form of government in its own right—arguably the most impactful form for many people. In this microcosm of democracy, the board of directors acts as the legislative branch, representing the collective interests of the community, while the condominium manager plays the role of executive director—responsible for implementing policies, managing resources, and ensuring the day-to-day functionality of the "city-state." It’s a powerful comparison, and it rings true. Decisions made at the condominium level often have immediate and tangible impacts on residents’ lives—more so, perhaps, than decisions made by larger levels of government. The cleanliness of a hallway, the safety of a building, or the fairness of a budget can influence a person’s quality of life far more directly than federal or provincial legislation. Hearing Steve articulate this analogy reminded me why the work we do in condo management matters so much. It’s not just about keeping the lights on—it’s about fostering trust, building community, and creating spaces where people feel safe, respected, and at home. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Steve Paikin for this thought-provoking perspective and for being so gracious during our conversation (yes, I was a bit starstruck!). And a huge thank-you to the Condo Conference organizers for bringing together such incredible voices and creating a space for meaningful dialogue. This is why events like the Condo Conference are so important—they challenge us to think bigger, connect deeper, and remind us of the broader impact of what we do every day. #CondoConference CondoConference2024 #StevePaikin #Leadership #Governance #TheAgenda #CommunityImpact
