Should all employee engagement activities be paused in August? 🌴 It doesn’t have to be the case (unless you shut down for the summer and nobody is around). In fact, Rachel Wright from Celbretti tells us that June and August tend to be the most popular months for summer team events. Celbretti helps companies create unforgettable team events in Berlin and plenty of those happen over the summer: 🧺 Small companies often choose: picnics, BBQs, bike rides, and hikes 🎵 Large teams go for: festivals with music and food truck catering Why is hosting these kinds of events important? ▶️ They help teams get to know each other better ▶️ You have different conversations on a picnic blanket than in a meeting room ▶️ This helps build rapport and feel safe to share more of ourselves. It’s hard to share bold ideas with teammates you don’t have rapport with - Instead people hold back and go with the flow. If you want your teams to innovate and create, rapport is really important - and events help! Do you host any summer events for your employees? Let us know what those are in the comments! ☀️ #SummerInTheCity #EmployeeEngagement #EmployeeEvents

Employee engagement events are a fantastic opportunity to foster a sense of belonging, boost morale, and strengthen relationships. But they don't have to be boring! 🤭 Here are some tailored ideas from previous employee engagement events that we have created, to ensure your next event is more engaging: 🙌 Employee recognition awards: Celebrate achievements, milestones, and contributions of team members. Recognise individuals or teams for their hard work, creativity, and dedication with personalised awards. You could mix things up by giving your awards a theme, allowing attendees to dress up. 🙌 Interactive workshops: Offer interactive workshops focused on personal development, wellness, or professional skills enhancement. Inject fun and creativity into the workshops where possible. 🙌 Employee-led workshops: Empower employees to share their expertise and knowledge by leading workshops or mini-sessions on topics they're passionate about. 🙌 Adventure retreat: Plan an outdoor adventure retreat where employees can bond over outdoor activities like hiking, camping, or rafting. Outdoor retreats provide opportunities for team building, relaxation, and connecting with nature. 🙌 Live entertainment: Incorporate live entertainment into your event, such as musical performances, comedians, or interactive performers. Live entertainment provides a break from formal presentations and adds an element of surprise and excitement. Hey there! Have you thought about one of the ways to enhance employee engagement? Hehehehe! Do not snooze on TGIF Activities 😎 🎉 As employers, fostering a positive work environment is key to maintaining high morale and productivity. One effective way to do this is by embracing "Thank God It’s Friday" (TGIF) activities. These moments allow employees to unwind, connect, and celebrate the week’s achievements, promoting a stronger team dynamic. Encouraging TGIF activities, such as casual Fridays, team lunches, or after-work gatherings, not only helps employees recharge but also enhances collaboration and engagement. By prioritizing these informal interactions, you contribute to a motivated and cohesive workforce ready to tackle new challenges. Incorporate TGIF into your company culture, and watch as your team’s energy and productivity flourish!

🌟Elevating Workplace Engagement: Fostering a Vibrant Company Culture 🌟 I am thrilled to share an exciting initiative that we've recently launched within our department to enhance employee engagement and bolster our team's morale: FAD (Fun, Activities, and Diversity) Friday! As the appointed lead for Employee Engagement, it has been both a privilege and a pleasure to spearhead this endeavor alongside my dedicated colleagues. Recognizing the profound importance of fostering a positive work environment, we embarked on a journey to introduce innovative activities that would not only uplift spirits but also cultivate stronger bonds among team members. FAD Friday emerged as a cornerstone of our engagement strategy, designed to infuse a sense of excitement and camaraderie into our weekly routine. Every Friday, our team rallies around a chosen theme, eagerly donning attire that reflects the spirit of the occasion. From retro throwbacks to cultural celebrations, each week brings a new opportunity for creativity and expression. The response from our team has been nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment we introduced FAD Friday, there was an overwhelming wave of enthusiasm and participation. Witnessing colleagues go above and beyond to embrace each theme with gusto has been incredibly rewarding, reinforcing the value of creating moments of joy and connection in the workplace. What’s your outstanding employee engagement in your company? #EmployeeEngagement #CompanyCulture #TeamBuilding #WorkplaceWellbeing #Innovation #LinkedInPost #FADFriday

Did you know you can use your live event season tickets for employee engagement? If you’re using season tickets to engage with business prospects and clients, you already know live events can create positive experiences and goodwill toward your organization. However, you can also see investment returns on your season tickets when you use them for employee recruitment and retention! Whether you attend events with your staff or send them on their own, your season tickets can help boost your bottom line by attracting and retaining top talent. Here are a few tips for using season tickets to show your love to your most valuable assets — your employees. 1. Consider how many tickets you might use for employees during a season and buy accordingly. Some sports, like Major and Minor League Baseball, offer far more opportunities for employees to attend a game than NFL tickets. 2. Consider which events best suit your employees’ interests. For example, if your staff is mostly artsy, creative folks, they might enjoy live theater or concert tickets more than a sporting event. 3. Determine staff availability — if events occur at times when your employees are likely to have family commitments, they may be unable to attend. For example, parents of young children might need childcare or must attend after-school extracurricular activities. 4. Ask your employees about their interests and availability before investing in event tickets. Your interest in their feedback demonstrates your commitment, even if you can’t reward them as often as you’d like. #ticketnology #seasontickets #employeebenefit #employeefun
