In today's digital world, a website is your company's handshake. It's the 24/7 billboard screaming to the world: "Hey, we're here, we're awesome, and we can help you!" As Bill Gates wisely said, "If your business is not on the internet, then it's out of business." Think of your website as your digital storefront, open anytime, anywhere. People are searching for what you offer, but if you're not online, they'll find your competitor who is. Michael Jordan might have said it best: "I can accept failure, everyone fails. But I can't accept not trying." Don't miss out on potential customers because you haven't embraced the digital age! Here's the superpower of a website: Credibility booster: In a world of fly-by-night businesses, a website screams legitimacy. It's like saying, "We're real, we're professional, and we're here to stay!" As Maya Angelou said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Make them feel confident about choosing you! Content is king (or queen): Tell your story! Showcase your products! Educate your audience! A website lets you control the narrative and be the hero. It's your chance to shine, as Michelle Obama phrased it, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." Let your website showcase your beautiful dreams! Open for business, always: Unlike that grumpy store owner with inconvenient hours, your website is always open. Customers can browse at 2 am in their PJs, or while waiting in line for coffee. Convenience is king, and Jeff Bezos knows it: "Invention simplifies life." Your website can simplify your customers' lives! So, ditch the outdated tactics and join the digital revolution. Why don't some people/businesses value a website? 🤔 I don't think this is as prevalent as it once was but it is absolutely still a thing in today's world... 1. They've never done business or promoted their business online so why would they start now? 2. They established a business before having a website was the "done thing" so in there eyes whats the point? 3. The cost of a good website maybe outweighs what they think they'll get from it. Why they should switch their thinking on having a website... 1. If you can't be seen, you can't be found. Being visible online is a necessity in business 2. Sure they're established, but their ceiling of success and growth is significantly smaller than that of an business with a website and online presence. 3. Spend the money, get visible and gain leads. Today I saw a discussion online about how many small businesses don't have a website. It's a shame, because 30 percent of people don’t consider using a business if it doesn’t have a website. Which is why I decided to offer to build simple sites. Having a website gives a business legitimacy, lets potential customers easily see what you offer to whom, offers social proof through testimonials, and tells people how to get in touch. Most business owners try to do everything at once, not realizing that this is killing their business. Let me ask you this: When watching a movie, do you feel like they add scenes that don't matter to the story? If the answer is yes, you probably didn't finish that movie. Why? When writing scripts, they usually trash lines irrelevant to the main story loop afterward. Knowing this, what are many businesses doing? They are talking about everything at once, building everything, and trying to excel everywhere. Let's talk about email. Except if you're sending a newsletter, which sends out news, don't add more than one topic to the email. It's like a story that starts but never ends. Our brain is always searching for closure. Yesterday, I went to the gym, and you won't believe what happened. Meanwhile, my mom called me and asked me a favor. Oh, and by the way, did you know dogs shouldn't eat cereal in their meals? See? If you're watching Titanic, you'll leave the cinema if they add a scene where the chefs talk about their free time. Nobody cares; it has nothing to do with the main story loop. What's with this big ship? Where is it going? Will the guy get the girl? This is what they actually care about. So, if you're building your business, try to take things linearly; don't ramble about everything at once. People won't care if you don't give them a reason to. If you ask me what I do, I could probably tell you: Many business owners struggle to find the right approach to their businesses with so much information available online. We come in, make a strategy, and implement it so they can grow their revenue stress-free. 7 months ago, I started building my first online business. Today, I own a profitable business and help others do the same. So listen to me when I tell you that: A lot of advice you see online on "how to build an online business" is BS. Because most of this advice is based on stuff that worked YEARS ago... And not what's working in 2024. → a lot of coaches are teaching what worked for them in the past, not what's working in 2024. But the harsh reality is: - Niches evolve. - Algorithm changes. - Markets get more competitive. And if you want to grow an online business in 2024, you need to understand what's working NOW. Not just what worked 5 years ago.
