Upon recent business expansion, they are looking for a Director of Construction & Engineering to be responsible for construction & engineering management for the Group. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and coordinate large and/or complex commercial and hotel projects through all phases of design, permitting and construction. Provides leadership forsite project management function by managing, coordinating, and developing staff and third party project managers. Operates with significant independence and minimal supervision as the principal project representative. Will meet regularly with board of directors, senior managementand with other top executives. Focus on technical aspects of the project as well as the coordination of contractors and service providers of the project. EXPERIENCE Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines 25+ years of post-qualification project management experience Familiar with Hong Kong & Macau's relevant ordinances Professional qualification / Chartered Demonstrated experience in full cycle project delivery of large-scale mixed use & hospitality development projects Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build a team and lead from the front Fluency in English & Cantonese are essential This is an executive level role and as such will command an extremely attractive package and benefits. 🌅Earlier today, I had the opportunity to experience a remarkable piece of infrastructure in the fenlands of Cambridgeshire—the guided bus route that winds through unique flatlands and into the heart of Cambridge. 🚍🌳 This video captures a glimpse of my family's journey along this innovative route during the final days of our trip. 📹👨👩👧👦 This project exemplifies the positive impact of effective government policy. It addresses real problems—alleviating traffic congestion and repurposing a disused railway and under-maintained quarry lakes. 🚦🚂 The result is a significant improvement in the quality of life for the local community. 🏡😊 Reflecting on this development, I can't help but think about my home city of Kuala Lumpur.
