Earlier this spring, Shelter welcomed Chadd Romanowicz to the team as Vice President of Maintenance. This was a critical hire for Shelter Corporation to uphold operational excellence for our owners. Chadd has had an immediate impact on the business, and it coincided with the implementation of our maintenance software, UpKeep. This software improves the visibility of maintenance needs at our properties and better documentation of what was done to resolve the situation. In comparison to the same time last year (Mar 11 – May 11), we have 260% more work orders captured and completed electronically. This increase in data capture will enable us to better staff and deploy our maintenance teams, ensuring they consistently meet our high standards.
