By accident or by design General Practice has a fundamental role in the NHS. It is leveraged into most pathways/activities everywhere yet wider knowledge is limited. Looking at the detail it becomes obvious that getting it right matters for CEs, COOs and CMOs everywhere. General Practice is being buffeted by many external challenges and will have to work to contract to survive (or not) which will have far reaching consequences for all. Have expanded the argument in the attached documents from a logical stand-point, rather than a "save General Practice" narrative. Everything is interconnected-we all get the General Practice we deserve.

Grateful for the opportunity to attend and speak at the Rural Practitioners of Texas Conference these last few days in Fredericksburg, hosted by the Texas A&M University School of Medicine Rural Medicine Program. The conference was so well done! Huge applause for those who organized it! Rural health practitioners face an entirely different level of challenges compared to their urban counterparts. Their resources are much more limited. The expectations on them are much higher. They go over and beyond everyday in every aspect of care for their patients to make sure that they do what is best for their patients. Their patients become their family. It’s such an honor to partner with these groups to provide Care Management (RPM/CCM) services. The patients in these areas are the receptive and grateful for the additional level of care that comes from participating in these programs. Our patient engagement and outcomes in these areas speak for themselves. Are you an independent provider in a rural area? Are you looking to implement CCM and/or RPM? Are you worried about the cost and/or the additional work you believe it will involve? Have you already tried to implement it internally, without success? If so, LET’S CHAT! I guarantee I can show you an easier way.
