Financial Literacy has never been more important than before, and the unfortunate reality is that many public school curriculums do not currently provide the roadmap for students to be financially responsible by the time they turn 18. I’m looking forward to partnering with Motivate Our Minds beginning later this month by offering weekly financial literacy to students ranging K-5. Working as Summer Residential Coordinator has been a great experience to me.
GER2I is the program it is, not only because of the research we conduct but also for our youth programming. Throughout the year, GER2I facilitates four enrichment programs serving students in PreK-12th grade. Running each program takes hard work and dedication from our graduate student coordinators, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to support GCT youth. With that, we would like to thank the efforts of our previous coordinators, our Summer Residential Coordinators, Tugce Karatas, Bekir Akçe, Hernan Castillo Hermosilla, and our Supers Coordinator, Ty'Bresha Glass. We want now to introduce our new coordinators for the 2023-2024 year: Supers Program Coordinator Alia Pineda Medina and Summer Residential Coordinators Brenda Cavalcante Matos and Jhon Anthony Careth Henao.
