Roadcorse time. No passing allowed unless front driver signals. Steel brakes fading as laps go by, street tires grease up, using horsepower to stay right on the back bumper of the track purpose built GT3RS, The brakes and tires on the GT only get better with heat and laps. The Z06 is setup on the OE street alignment as far as camber and toe vs the porche with on the fly electronic camber adjustment. Now that we have collected this data with real track time experience we can address it. The recoil Z is not equipped with Factory carbon brakes so we are upgrading to a drilled and slotted two piece Steel rotor with carbon ceramic pads to re test braking power, we want to be on the gas longer so we can get on the brakes harder for a shorter period of time, in theory that coupled with track focused wheel alignment will shave time off of our laps….
