Can you help me with a hand sanitizer solution? Hey facilities operations professionals and LinkedIn Community, our facilities team is working with our Infection Prevention and Nursing leadership on best practices in keeping hand sanitizers ready and available in our inpatient rooms for hand hygiene. We've used this 12oz pump dispenser in the past which is easy to implement, but occasionally the stickie tape fails and the bracket falls off. Now you have a new problem, as the stickie residue is an infection control issue. Additionally, the little dispenser can sometimes wander off. Permanent anchors for the bracket is an option, but doesn't address the wandering bottles. Or, we switch to the larger-style wall mounted touchless foam dispensers, but those require permanent anchors due to weight. Curious if anyone has a solution that has been sustainably successful. Thanks in advance, with gratitude!

Working in the field of infection control is not in the stream or flexibility that many imagine, as it is very related to the safety of patients and workers, both within the health facility. I do not think that the concept of employing other than competencies and unaware of the depth of the real risk is correct! Especially when it is not absorbed and understood the depth of the basic procedures..
