It is always great to see an increased effort for patient access, with the rising difficulties of cost, transportation, and time it is nice to see hospitals making a concerted effort in supporting the health of their community. What do you think about the scalability of this trend, share your thoughts.

It’s frustrating to read some of these posts because they are not clear and don’t really explain anything. For example, can the editor explain what “integrate hospice organizations further upstream” actually refers to? And what “developing a broader view of frail elder care” entails? And yes, the dearth of caregivers (because they are overworked and underpaid) is a big problem, but we’ve known that for a while (even before the pandemic). The post doesn’t explain how hospice will address this ongoing problem/crisis. And finally, how will AI assist in “battling hospice staffing issues.” It’s not productive to simply repeat the problems over and over. What this post did reiterate and made clear was that acquisitions and mergers will continue and private-equity firms continue to find plenty of space to navigate within the hospice sector to continue generating wealth. This wasn’t a helpful article. I’d love to hear from a professional on what these CEO’s are truly saying. Examples would be wonderful. www.hospicehelppro.com
