La Fondation Clément-Drevon et la 63ème Vente des Vins des Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges le 10 mars 2024. Le bénéfice de la vente de la pièce de charité de la prochaine Vente des Vins des Hospices de Nuits-Saint-Georges est attribué cette année à la Fondation Clément-Drevon afin de financer des projets de la recherche médicale. La Fondation Clément-Drevon finance des projets dans les trois domaines suivants : 1 - La recherche médicale fondamentale en laboratoire pour tester des hypothèses médicales, la recherche clinique en collaboration avec les patients pour vérifier l’efficacité et l’innocuité d’un médicament testé en laboratoire.  2 - La valorisation des données de santé. La recherche médicale est aujourd'hui associée à d'autres disciplines telles que les mathématiques, l'informatique, les sciences humaines et sociales. Cette association ouvre la voie à l’utilisation de l'intelligence artificielle et au développement d'algorithmes capables de traiter une masse considérable de données médicales. Cette approche permet de mesurer l’impact des médicaments innovants et des vaccins, d’évaluer les parcours de soins, de mettre sur pied des campagnes de prévention sur le bon usage des antibiotiques et le dépistage précoce des maladies.  3 - Faciliter la mobilité de médecins-chercheurs pour des périodes d’un an ou plus à l’étranger. En effet, la Fondation a conscience des difficultés rencontrées par les jeunes chercheurs pour financer et poursuivre leurs travaux dans des équipes d'accueil à l'étranger ou accueillir des chercheurs étrangers dans des équipes labellisées dans la région. ... and today it was the day! 🆕 1st Future Donor Day and Blood Donation. The staff of our 3 properties was involved in our second #ChiaLagunaSolidale event. 🙏 A massive #thankyou to our valuable #colleague Carlo Cadoni for his time, ideas, energy, enthusiasm, patience and dedication. Carlo is a long-time blood donor and active member of the national company called AVIS, responsible to collect blood in all Italian regions. 🩸The Blood emergency is always high in Sardinia. We wanted to do our part! 🫂 So, I would like to extend the praise to our colleagues, who today are participating with us to set up everything for our internal and external guests. The event was open to everybody. You may know me from my feature cover on Men’s Health or my book, The 1st Aisle, available on Amazon, maybe you’ve seen me in a few commercials on TV, or you’ve seen my exercise videos on Instagram and YouTube. But, now, it’s time to get serious. For the last 35 years I’ve lived a plant-based vegan life and I’m positive it’s saved me from a stroke, heart disease, diabetes, being overweight and God only knows what else. A lot of the insight I’ve received about plant-based eating is from PCRM, the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, based in Washington D.C., led by Dr. Neal Barnard. The mission of PCRM is to save and improve human and animal lives through plant-based diets and ethical and effective scientific research. That said, I’m doing an awareness campaign and fundraiser for PCRM, which is a bike ride departing from Central Park in New York City on May 21st and arriving at Lincoln Park in Chicago on June 5th. The ride is to inspire the African-American community to combat heart disease with a combination of cardiovascular exercise and plant-based eating, two things I’ve dedicated my life to. PCRM has many great programs and initiatives that we all need to be aware of and it’s all about improving the quality of life for you, your family, your loved ones and everyone else who wants to join the party. It’s my mission to help promote those programs and get a million people to adopt a plant-based lifestyle so the African-American community and the world at large will be healthier and happier. However, this mission will only be realized through your generous contributions to help fund the trip and donate money to PCRM. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
