Searching for ways to foster a more engaging, purposeful, and values-driven culture within your organization? One often overlooked opportunity lies in the calendar of observances, festivals, and commemorative days celebrated throughout the year. These events present a unique chance to come together and meaningfully recognize the principles, causes, and ideals that should be woven into the fabric of our work and our lives. Whether it's hosting educational sessions, organizing volunteer projects, or simply taking time for reflection, these observances offer a chance to get everyone in the organization engaged and invested in what truly matters. We've put together a Social Impact Calender highlighting 40+ impactful observances - from International Women's Day to World Environment Day and beyond. Each one is an opportunity to celebrate the values we hold dear and make a measurable difference. Want the planner for your team? Just comment "Going Knuts" below, and we'll send it your way! #socialimpact #socialcalendar #employeewellbeing #employeeretention #hr #makeadifference #internationalwomensday #internationalmensday #pridemonth #internationaldayofpersonswithdisabilities #worldenvironmentday #goKNUTS #learning #speakersessions

Men need safe spaces too. The leaking of the Garrick Club membership list has predictably sent all the Guardian reading feminists and wokerati into a wild frenzy, shouting that the club’s men-only policy is sexist and unfair and preventing women from having access to the seats of power. But I honestly don’t understand what all the fuss is about. Why can’t men have a club just for men? I appreciate that places such as golf clubs should be open to both men and women, because of course women should be allowed to play golf too. But despite being happily married for many years, sometimes I just want to be in male company in a male-only bar. Men are different to women, and I like being able to eat my lunch and read the FT without having four women nattering incessantly in a corner. Women can have their own bar if they want, and of course there are all the other bars in the world where men and women can mingle. But attempting to gatecrash into one of the few remaining men-only spaces is just wrong. It’s the same as if I was having dinner with a friend and some random woman came along and said she would like to join us - well no actually, f**k off. It’s funny, you never hear of men trying to infiltrate the Women’s Institute or the Yorkshire Women’s Knitting Club. I don’t understand why any woman would even want to be a member of somewhere like the Garrick Club anyway. I can’t think of anything more dreary than spending an evening hanging out with Michael Gove and Jacob Rees-Mogg. As for all this access to power nonsense, the feminists have got it completely wrong. High Court judges and the like are not going to be influenced anyway, no matter where they choose to have a drink. If women are allowed to have women-only spaces, why on earth can’t men have men-only spaces? That is literally the definition of equality, surely. It can be hugely damaging to men’s mental health to have women cackling away while they are trying to have a quiet drink. We men need safe spaces too.

🌸 Happy International Women's Day! 🌸 To all the incredible women out there, today is about celebrating your strength, resilience, and the beautiful souls that make this world a better place. 💪✨ Today’s tip: Embrace Self-Compassion 🤍 Ladies, we often find ourselves putting others first, juggling a million things at once. Today, let's take a moment to breathe and show ourselves some love. Practice self-compassion by acknowledging your achievements, big and small. 🌷💕 💫 Here's a quick ritual to try: Reflect: Take a few moments to acknowledge and appreciate your journey. Affirm: Repeat positive affirmations. You are strong, capable, and deserving. Treat Yourself: Indulge in something you love – a warm bath, a good book, or a cozy cup of tea.d Remember, your well-being is a priority. 💗✨ Let's continue lifting each other up and embracing the phenomenal beings we are! 🚀💃 #InternationalWomensDay #SelfCare #Empowerment #YourServiceName

Strong Women = Strong Communities, Strong Teams, Strong Families, Strong Relationships. When I say "strong" - I mean mentally and emotionally strong. Strong women know who they are and what they bring to the table. I believe that women are the cornerstone of healthy relationships, so much of my work is on supporting women to be "strong". I've just spent the past week attending an Indian Wedding in Budapest, where I had the honour of meeting so many "strong" women who formed the cornerstone of this family. There is so much POWER in that. So let this be a reminder to choose to do the work on ensuring YOU are STRONG. You need to put your oxygen mask on first so that you, too, can be the strength that is needed in your relationships. Whether you're a mother, a partner, or on your own journey, your health is crucial. It’s about more than just feeling good or looking good—it’s about being able to bring your best to everything you do. Let’s focus on supporting each other in tangible, everyday ways this Mother's Day. When women are healthy, we're not just surviving; we're leading, loving, and inspiring everyone around us. Why this matters: Because every woman’s health enriches her life and, by extension, the lives of those around her. We all benefit from the ripple effects of her well-being. Ready to step up? What’s one practical step you can take this week to support your health or the health of a woman in your life? #MothersDay #HealthyWomen #StrongCommunities #HealthyFamilies

future is female: fearless: women:
March was a beautiful month to celebrate the special roles women play in society. We took time to sit and chat with some of the customers & women of Beauty & Co, hosted an IWD gathering at the beautiful Orchid Conservatory of the Majestic Hotel by YTL Hotels . Honesty and open discussions fostered new friendships and reminded all of us that we can lift each other up with our stories. Beauty&Co’s founder Yann Fang Yap shared her Biohacking journey & tips, Elaine Daly shared secrets to confidence while Anabelle Co-Martinent shared personal branding and her health journey. 🩷We shouldn’t wait for another International Women’s Day to celebrate who we are. Everyday is a chance to recognize the achievements and sacrifices women make. That’s why promoting SELF-CARE is so important to us… and we wanted to remind all of you that: 🩷SELF-CARE IS NOT VANITY. IT’S FOR YOUR SANITY. This is a reminder to you to pause and have that moment… men or women… we all need that self-care moment. Here’s to strong women: may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. #womeninbusiness #womensupportingwomen https://lnkd.in/drGHQ4xJ
