Nearly ten months after introducing a discussion draft, a bipartisan group of Senators officially introduced the Nurture Originals, Foster Art, and Keep Entertainment Safe Act of 2024 (NO FAKES Act). The 2024 act tracks the key principles of the 2023 discussion draft with the goal of providing individuals an enforceable (and licensable) property right in one's digital identity, including voice, image and visual likeness. A powerful and informative mini-documentary on Great Stolen Art that is very much worth watching.

Very interesting article! Our memories can play tricks on us. Also, when images can be manipulated so easily, it allows for bad actors to win the game. This article uses things that innocent images to make the point, but just think how easy it really is to fool the population on topics of grave importance. Everyone should read this article.
