IATA is pleased to support this important campaign by the IAA.
Thankfully, only a very small number of passengers become unruly and disruptive onboard flights, but where this does happen their behavior has a disproportionate impact. We are confident this campaign will play a key role in reducing the number of incidents.
But there is more work still to be done. IATA members airlines tell us that in around 60% of cases, unruly passengers are not prosecuted for their misbehaviour because of jurisdictional gaps in the Tokyo Convention 1963. These jurisdictional gaps were resolved by the Montreal Protocol 2014 but many States are yet to ratify the Protocol. That is why It is important that leading aviation markets, including Ireland, now ratify the Montreal Protocol 2014 to strengthen the global legal deterrent against unruly and disruptive passenger incidents onboard flights.

[PILOT'S EYE LANDINGS #2]
We noticed you really liked the previous video of our landing at Brac Airport, so we decided to continue in the same “tone” 😊
Here's another landing from the same (pilot/cockpit) perspective, destination in this case is Mykonos, one of our more frequent destinations in summer months. Capt. Krešo and FO Lovro Jung are again the crew, but this time the pilot flying is Lovro.
Landing at Mykonos is often pretty demanding, due to winds that sometimes go over 50 knots (kts). In this particular video, it's “only” 15 kts, with gusts up to 28 kts, mostly in the direction of the runway. High level of concentration and expertise are mandatory. Big kudos to our First Officer Lovro for doing everything perfectly and landing softly.
We definitely recommend exploring Mykonos, one of the most visited islands in Greece, which, according to the legend, was named after the grandson of the god Apollo. The island offers something for everyone, for example - pay attention to the villas under the threshold of the runway, they seem to be in an ideal position for aviation enthusiasts and "plane spotters" 😍😍
